Elizabeth Bartlett talking about her support group

We've had a pile of nominations again this year...and the closing date for entries has come and gone.

Our special programme will be on the first Saturday of 2010. But here on the blog in the coming days you can learn more about some of the nominees.

My iPM co-presenter Jennifer writes:

"One of the first nominees put forward for the iPM New Year Honour is Elizabeth Bartlett who featured on a recent programme. She runs a memory support group for people with dementia.

Elizabeth has been nominated by Rose, her husband has dementia. "Folded up in her arms" is how she describes meeting Elizabeth.

Our reporter Ray Furlong went to one of their last sessions before Christmas, listen to his piece (5.14 mins)
