Need Minimum of 3 days for covering the main attractions.
Need Minimum of 3 days for covering the main attractions. Familiarity with Paris metro/subway is a must for saving money. Rue de Rivoli, Montmartre, Champs-Élysées, Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Louvre..etc must be seen and enjoyed with family. Paris subway is extensively covered and quite economical too. Food choices are exceptional and would satisfy all. As a location, I would rate 6th arrondissement, around St. Germain Des Pres metro as exceptionally good.

Try adding outdoor experiences to your trip to Paris.
Try adding outdoor experiences to your trip to Paris. Find out the schedules to the local outdoor markets and see how real Parisians live and shop. I would also recommend a few other outdoor activities. Parc des Buttes-Chaumont, Le Canal Sainte-Martin and Coulee Verte Rene-Dumont. All accessible by the wonderful Paris Metro system.

Paris offers a blend of iconic landmarks, charming neighborhoods, and vibrant culture that make it a must-visit. Start with classic sights like the Eiffel Tower, Louvre Museum, and Notre-Dame Cathedral. Explore the historic Marais district for its unique shops, cafes, and beautiful architecture, or head to Montmartre for artistic vibes and stunning city views. For easy travel, the Metro system is affordable and efficient, though walking through Parisian streets often leads to hidden gems! Be mindful of pickpockets in crowded areas, and don't forget to try the local pastries, especially croissants and macarons. With a mix of culture, history, and charm, Paris is unforgettable for first-time and returning visitors alike.

The metro does not go all the way to Versailles- leave plenty of time for the hopeless ticket system of the private rail system to Versailles. We missed our booked tour because of it but had 3 hours in the gardens- superb. Paris is wonderful- our pre purchased tix for some sights were excellent (via booking.com) We allowed plenty of time and energy to get around on the Metro. Wandering through galleries to see less popular works is the way to go- avoid the Mona Lisa and go to the O'jects d'art galleries instead. Muse d'Orsay was a standout as was St Chappelle and the Conciergerie. AND make a day for Galleries Lafayette Housmann- a must for buying Chanel Perfume in Paris. Autumn is the best timne of year- no rainy days at all. Ready for a second trip

Great location. Extremely clean rooms, bathroom was a bit small but that is not a problem especially because it's Paris. The rooms were cleaned every day, fresh towels bedsheets everything. Lovely lobby area in the hotel. Breakfast was good, just the usual pastries bread cereal but cheaper than going to a cafe! 15 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower and easy access every other major attraction by the metro stations near by. Nice area too with lots of nice restaurants and cafes. Had a really good stay here.
This is a very good 3 star hotel. Good bed, room not as small as in Paris usually, very nice breakfast with tomato, cucumber and other fresh things, good orange jiuice and caffe, and croissants, of course. Very nice people iin reception, speaking good English without accent what has been problem in France sometimes. Breakfast room is big but it was quite full of people. You can take tea, coffee and water all day.
Great location. Nice, quaint hotel with homey feel. France was very helpful in accommodating my family with a larger room with a view. It was our first visit to Paris and he upgraded us to a larger room near the end of our stay. Paul and Nelson were kind as well.
Very good cheap-and-cheerful hotel in a fabulous location in the Marais - easy walk to the best restaurants, shops and street, as well as the Metro. Highly recommended for those who just want a good room to sleep in the best neighbourhood in Paris.
