V here really stands for very very extraordinary. The most creative and unique hotel i've ever been. The room is really stylish yet cozy and very clean. Spa is incredible experience. View is also amazing. You can clearly see Matthehorn.

Featuring a garden, a terrace as well as a bar, Hotel Tannenhof is located in the centre of Zermatt, 600 metres from Zermatt Railway Station. Location was great, central and quiet. Breakfast was perfect.

In a quiet location of Zermatt, Hotel Romantica offers a garden, free WiFi, and rooms with flat-screen cable TV. Hotel Romantica made my stay at Zermatt memorable. It is walking distance from the train station and situated in a narrow and climbing street. The hotel will give you a cozy and homey feeling. The staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming. I told them I planned to do the 5 Lakes Hiking trail and they gave me a map on where I should go and the order of the lakes I should go to. The room I had was comfortable. The bathroom was up to modern standards. Some rooms even had a good view of the city center from their balcony. A few minutes walk at the back of their property, there is a viewing spot where you can see Matterhorn. It was just perfect. The breakfast was wonderful. Everything is just so great. I highly recommend this place.

Situated on a rock, 45 metres above the roofs of central Zermatt, guests access The Omnia via a tunnel leading to an elevator, which brings them right into the lobby. Staff made birthday and anniversary celebrations even more special and created life time memories. Suite up grade and decoration touches showed they understood the importance of the occasions. First opened in 1879, Grand Hotel Zermatterhof is a traditional luxury establishment in a central but peaceful location in Zermatt. breakfast was great and our carriage ride was wonderful

Unique Hotel Post is situated in the centre of Zermatt, a 5-minute walk from the train station. There is free Wi-Fi in the rooms. Some of the rooms boast views of the Matterhorn. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The spa was relaxing and it was quiet. The Italian restaurant was wonderful and the bar was great too.

A member of “Leading Hotels of the World”, the 5-star Mont Cervin Palace was opened in 1851. It is situated in the heart of Zermatt, 300 metres from the train station. The staff were so lovely, polite, and very helpful.

As the first hotel ever built in Zermatt, the Monte Rosa is located right in the centre of the village and 400 metres from Zermatt Train Station. The breakfast, location and the bar was 10/10. The room was also dreamy. One of the best experiences I've ever had in a hotel

Situated in the Bahnhofstrasse in car-free Zermatt, the Hotel Schweizerhof offers you three restaurant, concierge service and free WiFi. Very conveniently located a few mins walk from train station, we arrived the first day the hotel re-opened for the summer season. Front desk staff are exceptionally helpful, in particular Philip who recommended that the gondola up to Matterhorn despite webcam showing overcast. It was not too crowded (would not be to do it in high season with huge crowds) and the views were stunning as the clouds disappeared on our way up and area at the top with ice cave & ice sculptures very much worth a wander. Returned to immaculate spacious junior suite which was exactly as depicted and very much appreciated after stay at another Zermatt hotel which was dire. Made use of beautiful spa & pool, both immaculate and huge. Dinner was very good as was breakfast. Bar staff exceptionally friendly and helpful like front desk with extensive bar and excellent cocktails. On the way to Zermatt from Lauterbrunnen, we left a small backpack with new hiking poles bought in Zurich on a train (had three train changes). We filed a report with lost & found, hopeful it would be turned in. Three weeks later the backpack turned up and was sent to Zermatt as that's what we had requested. We were able to organize DHL to ship it home to us but need the backpack packaged. My husband spoke to Philip at hotel on the phone and the hotel got our backpack from the train station, packaged it for us, DHL picked it up from the hotel and we got it four days later with everything intact, even the cookies given to us by hotel in Bern (which were incredibly delicious).
