It's a decent hotel for this area of Florida. It's not a fancy hotel, but we didn't expect that it would be. The property is kept in good condition. They serve free breakfast and that was a great way to start our day. They have a nice dining area that is clean, comfortable, welcoming, and well kept. Good food, and the staff smiled and said hello to me more than once.

We arrived at 8pm. Loved that we walked on beautiful white sand to get inside. Person at front desk was kind and had a happy, friendly, profession disposition.
The room was clean and very updated. Loved the shower pebble floor. Bed was very comfortable.
We were on the road again by 7am but before leaving we walked around the grounds and loved loved loved your BEACHY area in back. Talk about comfort & relaxing.

Natasha was exceptional. Prior to our arrival she contacted us to ensure we were safe due to the hurricane and provided recommendations for lunch. Proved very helpful as we were starving. She was also very helpful throughout our stay. We were also provided an extra gift of key lime pie for each of or birthdays that we were celebrating during our stay.

Breakfast is make your own waffles, hardboiled eggs, some fruit and a couple of baked goods.
We were expecting Breakfast not continental. All 3 mornings that we were there none of the 3 workers were doing anything productive. The issue was that there weren't any clean plates or silverware. None. My wife went to the office on Friday and Saturday mornings and it took more than 10mins to get help. Doesn't seem terrible except that there was now 6 people waiting on 1 waffle maker. Sunday had a worker present, she was asked for plates but she decided to clean up some crumbs off the counter and move the poppy muffins around. After 10mins of her not returning I went upstairs to an empty office but found all 3 breakfast workers talking while one cut brownies. I asked for plates and was told that they'd be down in a few minutes. I grabbed 2 plates from her cart and left. 2 other customers followed my example.
The bar sharing their property is very lively and loud. Live bands, etc.
They have different owners and the motel takes zero responsibility but they have a paving stone pathway right to the bars entrance. Don't plan on any peace from noon to 10pm.

Nice Area to start the trip to Key West. Nice restaurants and tiki bars. Since they have Starbucks, Publix and the other big chains you can have a cheaper stop to get refreshed. Loved the little dinners and bars.

Key Largo is only a 12-mile drive from mainland Florida, much closer than Key West, and has many fine resorts and old Florida restaurants and attractions along its main road, the Overseas Highway. The John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park offers outstanding diving and snorkeling. Key largo is a paradise for fishing and all types of water sports, or just relaxing at a pool or beach to enjoy the tropical scenery and sunsets.

Cute little town.
Cute little town. Please ty of place to eat and close to grocery store and other stores if needed. The diving center is located perfectly next to our hotel. We ate at the Big Chill next door and they had a band that was great and we watched the sun set. Perfect spot for kids also

Key Largo was nice.
Key Largo was nice. Closest enough to the airport without too long of a drive to Key West. Good location with a State park 15 minutes north and Theatre of the Seas 15 minutes to the south. The national parks are just an hour away, so everything was convenient.

First and foremost — the muffins and frittatas(?)
First and foremost — the muffins and frittatas(?) were a huge hit. Easily the best part of the stay. Having fresh from the oven food available in the morning, smelling the muffins from my room. The parking was easily accessible, the walk to the beach through the “gardens” was short but cutely decorated. The hammocks were a nice addition and could hold two people at once. The kayaks were free, the paddle boards weren’t. Most kayaks were two-people kayaks and one was a single person kayak. Caught barracuda and mangrove snapper right on the dock. Noise level was great for a family. No party scene. Easy to relax. The staff was knowledge about the area, recommended great places. All were very friendly.

The apartment was lovely and large with a gorgeous view (although cars do park in front on the beach so it's not as nice as the photos). The location was lovely with lots of nice bars and restaurants around so is a great stop off down to Key West. I took a kayak out and was surrounded by manatees which was incredible.
A perfect location on Key Largo. Very friendly staff/management. We enjoyed any single minute there. Private beach, free kayaks, free grills, good freshly made breakfast, and a clean room. We watched dolphins and a manatee. We already discussed to come back here...
