A perfect example of why THC levels are "passe" when describing a cannabis high. Malawi Gold may only have 15% THC, but it appears in lists of strains with THCV, a so-called "minor"cannabinoid. THCV is present in most if not all sativas. It's largely the cannabinoid responsible for the energetic, trippy, and in high enough percentages, even psychedelic experiences sativas can bring. Fortunately, like CBD, THCV seems to shave down the jagged edges of a THC stone. There is however the "one toke over the line" effect, when THCV switches from a CB1 antagonist to a CB1 receptor agonist. Best beware of that.

Got a quarter today at a new dispensary.This is an amazing sativa!Testing at 15.6%,it has great terps.somewhat earthy and slightly herbal.Good energy and focus,brighter colors and a good mood.makes you want to get off the couch and do something.if you come across it,try it.its here in OKC!

Malawi gold 🌍🧭🥇Got a quarter from OMGskyes which I trust as a fan of theirs. When this strain popped up on the menu at my local dispensary I didn't even think twice about it even though it was only sold in quarter ounces. The effects were pretty crazy, I wasnt nearly as stoned/hazy as I have been before on some psychoactive strains like white nightmare another sativa, but this strain was still pretty psychoactive. I describe it as doing a microdose of mushrooms while being on like 3 or 4 cups of coffee. Buds were very pretty with intense orange, and purple colors standing out. Despite looking like a messy perm when I looked it up online, it was actually gorgeous flower underneath all that trim. Also this stuff is the most keif producting flower I've had to this day. Guarantee just a 1/4oz is enough to fill the bottom of a grinder/kief collecting tray. 10/10 imo
