  • Code: AGD-33588219 · .177 · 320 fps
Out of Stock
Whether you're looking for a fun BB gun to shoot on your home range or need a pistol to help you stay proficient with your firearm, the Remington 1911 RAC should be at the top of your list. BBs are less than a penny a round. Compare that to what live ammo costs. Add the benefits of not having to go to a range, and you're way ahead of the game. Quickly fill the mag with 19 steel BBs, slide it into the grip and start shootin'! The sharp checkering in the grip panels grip you back and provide a very positive hold. You won't regret getting this pistol! When shooting a BB gun, everyone in the vicinity should wear safety glasses. Never shoot at hard objects. Steel BBs easily ricochet, so everyone in the area must wear safety glasses. Remember to remove all pets before commencing to shoot.

I see it is unavailable now...I wonder if it might have been because of this problem.....I wish I could get a replacement part verses throwing the entire gun away

Pros
Appears quality...never got to fire more than a couple of times.....the pierce point for the co2 cartridge ruined every cartridge

Cons
Instructions, warning on the use of the clip and the co2 cartridge. I was careful but the point punctured every cartridge, causing comlete emptying of the cartridge and made the gun useless I don't believe I could have more careful.....I cannot locate replacement clips for the gun 1911 RAC

Worth the price. I would recommend buying.

Pros
Powerful, decently accurate, range is really far. I aimed at a random (burned and abandoned) house from ab 50-70 feet and i hit.

Cons
A pain to reload. I have to use a pocket knife to reload.

The spring loader catch on the magazine is sharp and too small. A better design should be easy to do.

Pros
Shoots well. Feels similiar to a real 1911.

Cons
When I load a new CO2 cartridge sometimes it completely blows out the top of the magazine as I tighten the allen wrench. The mag appears to be centered correctly. I would like to fix this problem. Wastes CO2 cartridges.

This is my first blowback enabled air pistol. I do own a Crosman DMPS SBR but that is my only previous experience with blowback. I was completely blown away. I thought I was firing my .380 ACP handgun based on the recoil simulated by the blowback. This is a completely different experience to any regular, non-blowback airgun. I have only put 50 bb's through here but I ca't believe how much the blowback changes the experience. The accuracy I would consider less than optimal but it could be my nerves. Power is low as expected but the shooting experience more than makes up for it. I built a metal clip like youTuber BriQ did and it makes loading the bb's way easier. Can't wait to let a first timer shoot this thing. I hope this lasts a while. Oh yeah. Extended magazines [holding 27bb's] are available and regular additional magazines are also available. The Swiss Arms, Remington RAC, Tanfoglio WItness, and Springfield Armory Mill Spec 1911's all share the same mags.

Pros
Realistic Appearance - realistic weight - Amazingly accurate experience

Cons
Packaging is sparse - Finish deteriorates with use

Great pistol, has realistic blow back operation and weight. I purchased a refurbished gun, was blemished, but worked flawlessly. Came with a nice plastic pistol case. I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

Pros
Realistic blow back operation and weight and come with plastic case.

I ended up buying two of these, both refurbished. These pistols are great, fully functional, totally fun. I shoot indoors and get pretty tight groups if I do my part. I have been shooting the copper plated lead BB's, and they run fine. I load my mags by placing them in a Frisbie, then I use a popsicle stick to hook the slide, hold it back with the fingers of my left hand, and just grab a handful of BB's, and sort of roll them into the hole, I spill a lot, but they just stay in the bottom of the Frisbie, and I keep doing the same thing over and over til I run out. I end up buying lots of ammo :-)....!

Pros
cheap fun, no problems, work great!

Cons
I sometimes worry that I will wear them out, but they just keep on shooting great! How long will they last? They are made of cheap materials, but function perfectly!

gun looks and works same as my gun i carried in nam. hopefully it will last longer than that one. field strips and cleans just as my first one. shoots faiirly straight , not quite the same weight but works that same when shooting . wish the mag was easier to load or at least there was a speed loader that would work on it. i did not get the suggested nomber of shots as stated, i only got 2 mag loads in mine , and the big R stamped on the side does take away from its looks. hope this helps

Pros
looks and works like the original i carried in nam beraks down and cleans easy

Cons
as stated the mag is a bear to load

The refurbished gun I received looks like new and operates like new. The only problem is the "R" stamp on the right side of the frame ... I wish it's not there. This gun is the same as the Tanfoglio Witness 1911 except the labeling on the gun. Great gun, lots of fun, and powerful blowback. Definitely get the refurbished version if you don't mind the "R" stamp on the frame.

Pros
Realistic. Fun. Powerful blowback.

Cons
Only gets about 60 shots per CO2 cartridge.

I can't believe how nice this gun was. It worked flawlessly I liked the blowback and mostly all metal This also looked new.

Pros
Looked and felt like a real 1911,Nice back yard shooter, Quiet,

Cons
I wish it had a little more power 325 fps is kind of low. I guess the blow back causes the low power I can't find any cons especially at this bargain price.

Where can I buy separate parts for it because I am missing one part and I need to replace another part.

asked Ethan from USA

Is this BB or Pellet? Heading says BB but specs say Pellets

asked josh from USA

The pistol shoots only BB's. BB's are .177 cal.

Mark from USA

How do you put the co2 in

asked Briana Alexzandra from Canada

The 12 gm CO2 cartridge fits in the magazine. This is depicted in the manual.

Mark from USA

Would the 1911 make a good temporary cqb home defense weapon?

asked Danny

I have to hold the spring back by hand in order to load the BB's. Is there something I am missing? I really have to hold it with my finger nail and that is hard to do.

asked Bruce

No there is no other way you have to use you finger nail sorry man.

Ethan from USA

Hello I recently purchased a refurbished 1911rac. I received it last Friday and have used it about 3 times. I've ran about 15 12g co2 cartridges through it without a problem. Yesterday i was using it again and noticed the gun started to slow down as if it was running out of co2. I switched out the co2 catridage and got ready to fire it again. It didn't go off, I checked it for any feeding issues and there was none. I tried everything I could think off including field stripping the gun and nothing seemed to be wrong. After a while I pointed the muzzle of the gun up as if firing into the air(in a safe direction of course) and the gun finally fired. I tried pointing it straight and firing it and it didn't go off again. After several tried of figure out that it will only fire if the muzzle is pointed up into the air. I know the gun doesn't have any leaks as I regularly use pellgun oil. The one thing I have noticed to be off in the gun is there is this thing in the gas port that seems to slide all over the place. Any help is appreciated! Sorry for making this so long.

asked Cristhian from USA

asked garvit

Ethan from USA

is this pistol made of plastic or metal?

asked donald mcanalley

Metal, but be careful, a small drop will break it, mine broke that way

Charles from USA

metal

Patrick from USA

It is all metal.

John

actually has 420 fps?

asked Yamid from Colombia

The fos of this Co2 bb pistol is in the low 300's

inderbir from Canada

who manufactures this pistol?

asked ron

It depends on who the source is. I've read Crosman and Remington, but it may also be one of those megamanfacturers like KWC (Taiwan) who make the original item and then sell it to marketers like Umarex, Crosman amd Remington. Who knows? John Calhoun, Fort Collins, CO, USA

John Calhoun

I read somewhere online that it is Crosman who makes it, licensed by Remington for their branding. John "Desert Rat" Calhoun, Fort Collins, CO

John Calhoun

These are made by KWC... So the same as the Tanfoglio Witness 1911 they make. Which is also sold by Airgun Depot https://www.airgundepot.com/tanfoglio-witness-35803.html
