About this Costume
- Construction Details:
-
I made all my own patterns for this costume. The bottom of the pants were hand embroidered. The pants are a microsuede, and shirt is a 4 way stretch spandex. The designs on the shirt are a mix of velvet for the flowers, bias tape for the lines of color, fabric paint for some of the floral designs, and some hand embroidery. The mural on the back of the shirt is hand painted with fabric paint. The leather belt was made bu cutting smaller strips of leather and attaching them on top of the main leather belt in the "x" patterns like Noel's belt. The blue scarf and small pink scarves were ombre dyed by hand. The charms around the waist were attached to a string and tied around the waist, and the charms on the arm strings were attached with E6000 glue. I specifically chose charms that were clocks and time related because the game involved a lot of time travel. The pouch on the back was made with some extra cotton fabric I had, and interfaced so it is actually strong enough to hold stuff. The knife sheath was also hand made, and the etro writing on it was written on by hand. The shirt harness was a pleather, and clay for the buckles. The arm guard is a craft foam sandwhiched between a pleather and a cotton for the inside lining, and has a layer of heat and bond. After making the correct shape I heated the piece and formed it to my arm. The wig is 2 wigs that I sewed together and styled. My sword was made by Ger Tysk
- Personal Thoughts:
- Noel is one of my favorite characters to cosplay!
