In the complicated relationship between the government of Turkey and ISIS, it’s unclear how much of the relationship was direct and formal, as opposed to support coming from private individuals and entities in Turkey, or in response to the vast amounts of money ISIS had to spend on a network it deployed inside Turkey to receive and funnel foreign fighters, weapons, and medical supplies into its huge state apparatus. In any case, it’s clear that every state needs diplomats to negotiate political deals with the countries near its borders. ISIS, it seems, was no exception to this rule, as ICSVE researchers learned in a February 2019 five-hour interview with an ISIS emir, Abu Mansour al Maghrebi, who claims he essentially served as the ISIS ambassador to Turkey.

Tiene etiología multifactorial e incluye hábitos parafuncionales, como apretamiento de dientes nocturno y diurno. La acupuntura, uno de los pilares de la Medicina Tradicional China (MTC), se viene aplicando con resultado bastante efectivo, ya que promueve la relajación de la musculatura, el alivio de los dolores y un reequilibrio físico y emocional de los pacientes. Objetivo: Describir el caso clínico de una paciente, con dolor orofacial bilateral, movimientos musculares reducidos y un cuadro típico de ansiedad. Método: El tratamiento con acupuntura se realizó en cinco sesiones semanales, utilizando un protocolo específico para la paciente. Resultado: Reducción de alrededor de un 40 % da sintomatología dolorosa y relajación de la musculatura. Conclusión: El tratamiento con acupuntura promovió el bienestar físico y emocional de la paciente y proporcionó una relajación muscular y, en consecuencia, una liberación de los contactos prematuros, mejorando así la función masticatoria.

En este trabajo se reflexiona sobre la perspectiva de las dificultades de aprendizaje en relación con otros trastornos del desarrollo, intentando responder a la pregunta de si las dificultades de aprendizaje son un trastorno o una dificultad como los demás trastornos del desarrollo o si su naturaleza, configuración, evaluación e intervención son claramente diferentes. Para ello, se presentan argumentos en torno a dos tipos de cuestiones, la primera, sobre la conceptualización de las dificultades de aprendizaje y de los trastornos del desarrollo, la segunda, acerca de la evaluación e intervención en los trastornos del desarrollo, y por tanto en las dificultades de aprendizaje. A framework of six steps for engaging young children in research is presented in this chapter. This framework was built through collaboration with a team of international researchers funded by the Bernard van Leer Foundation (Johnson, Hart, & Colwell, 2014a and b). Relevant literature and theoretical underpinning is presented with discussion of how creative participatory approaches are relevant to understanding and interacting with children's geographies. The framework addresses key issues facing researchers wishing to engage young children in research processes and offers ways to overcome some of the challenges researchers may face. In order to illustrate the six steps, a selection of case studies which provide examples of how experts from a wide range of international contexts have worked with children are presented. These case studies have been selected to be of particular relevance to geographic field research with young children and have been developed and tested by experts from a wide range of international contexts.

Glufosinate ammonium or ammonium salt (ammonium-(2RS)-2-amino-4- (methylphosphinato) butyric acid; C 5 H 15 N 2 O 4 P) is a commonly used polar herbicide in Malaysia and present in a variety of environmental waters at the sub-ppb level. Thus, glufosinate ammonium is analyzed in soil and water using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), which is a complex yet the most powerful analysis tool. HPLC is tremendously sensitive and highly automated and HPLC instrumentation and machinery have improved over the years. However, typical problems are still encountered.
