Tanulmányunkban egy 2014–15 folyamán, Székkutason (Csongrád megye) feltárt Árpád-kori településrészlet házaiból előkerült kerámiaanyag feldolgozásának eredményeit mutatjuk be, adalékkal szolgálva a 12. századi kerámiakutatás adataihoz.Presented here are the results of the assessment of the pottery finds from the houses of an Árpádian Age settlement, a section of which was uncovered at Székkutas (County Csongrád) in 2014–2015, which can contribute to studies on 12th-century pottery.
Trends in Undergraduate Research
Different personality and mental health status may contribute differently to academic outcome. Hence, the main motivation of this study is to access the association of personality and mental health on academic performances in distance learning. This research applied a quantitative research method, using survey-based questionnaires, namely Ten Item Personality Inventory (TIPI) for personality traits and 12-Item General Health Questionnaire (GHQ-12) for mental health status. A total of 140 Undergraduates from all faculties in University Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) were picked and demographic profile was analysed through the descriptive and correlational analysis using both Pearson and Spearman correlation tests. The results showed a significant relationship between mental health and the Undergraduate students’ academic performance in GPA. Specifically, the loss of confidence factor was the only mental health factor that demonstrated a significantly negative, but weak correlation with th...

Time series analysis refers to problems in which observations are collected at regular time intervals and there are correlations among successive observations. Applications cover virtually all areas of Statistics but some of the most important include economic and financial time series and many areas of environmental or ecological data. In this course, I shall cover some of the most important methods for dealing with these problems. In the case of time series, these include the basic definitions of autocorrelations etc., then time-domain model fitting including autoregressive and moving average processes, spectral methods, and some discussion of the effect of time series correlations on other kinds of statistical inference, such as the estimation of means and regression coefficients.
