Abstract: Developing real-world enterprise systems requires the integration of a number of complex technologies. The 2006 Model Curriculum for Graduate Degree Programs in Information Systems recognizes this need and recommends an integrated capstone experience directed toward helping the graduate student amalgamate the broad knowledge base required for successful development of enterprise systems.

The project is presenting deployment model of cloud computing and the business opportuni-ties revealed due to availability of this new technology in Sultanate of Oman. Presenting the cloud new model of IT infra-structure, the project overviews the factors affecting cloud computing market in Oman, which has the most influence on Omani market and discuss at macro level the expected benefits which includes eliminating the infra-structure and capital costs, maintaining agile and flexible environment.

An Internet Exchange Point (IXP) is a physical infrastructure th at allows different Intern et Service Providers to exchange Intern et traffic between their autonomous system s by means of mutual peering agreements. Each IXP uses different hardware and software to monitor its network so that the f format of network monitoring data is typically unique to one IXP. Consequently, a monitoring tool developed for one IXP and specific to its infrastructure cannot be shared and used by another IXP without major changes. Further, since IXPs develop th eir own disparate set of tools, each of which has a different method for outputting data, it is quite difficult if not im possible to compare data from different IXPs side by side. The LINX network monitoring project, conducted with the collaboration of the London Internet Exchange Point, a member of the Euro-IX consortium , addresses precisely these problems.

Prostate cancer alone afflicts over 40,000 men in the UK annually (Prostate Cancer UK, 2013). Up to this point the effectiveness of detecting and localising abnormalities has been through manual processes which are subject to human error. As a consequence the need to negate such errors has led to research towards an automatic localisation method specifically aimed at prostate cancer; highlighting the potential of such research to expand to localise other types of cancer. To this end the prototype application has been development to act as a research enabling tool which optimises the image analysis, which would be required to expand automatic localisation to different cancer types. This is achieved through the building of 3 modules, for the visualisation, in 2D & 3D, and reporting of internal prototype information.

In this dialogue, Álvaro García Linera and Sandro Mezzadra discuss the relevance and irrelevance of Nicos Poulantzas's thought. After tracing the role played by Poulantzasian theory of the State in their respective works, the conversation turns to its potential uses in the present. The conversation touches on a number of key issues for the critical analysis of contemporary capitalism, such as recent changes in the global economy and the international scene, the rise of the far right and the possible horizons of a post-capitalist transition.
