The Portuguese Knights Templar -Logistics2024 •
This is a sequel to my paper "Gaza, Zion and the Knights Templar".
Most scholars emphasize the transformational leadership style while acknowledging the importance of transactional leadership style. The study was guided by four objectives including: 1) To determine the effect of autocratic leadership style on employee’s job performance. 2) To ascertain the effect of the leadership style adopted by the bank managers on employee performance. 3) To examine the impact of laissez faire leadership style on employee job performance. 4) To evaluate how RC Bank S/L's leadership style affects workers' performance A total of 70 questionnaires were completed and useful for analysis out of 110 questionnaires that were issued. This represented a response rate of 70% and a non-response rate of 40%. The non-response rate was attributed to refusal to respond by respondents because of their busy schedules at work and other related issues within the working environment. Based on the findings obtained and the conclusion drawn in addressing the problems identified, the researcher forwarded the following recommendations as a possible solution to be considered by respected body. According to the ways the leaders enhances his or her employee’s performance few of the respondents shows that leaders use punishment, in this situation even though the majority of the employee are treated and encouraged in a good manner for minority also, it is recommended not to react through punishment to any of the workers, rather than it is preferable to adopt other positive mechanism like training to motivate them and built their capacity to do the assigned jobs as per the requirements.

La comunicación interna de las empresas en situaciones de teletrabajoEn el 2020 las empresas de todo el mundo enfrentaron un desafío sin precedentes debido a la pandemia de COVID-19. Alrededor del 68% de la fuerza laboral mundial, incluyendo al 81% de los empleadores (OIT, 2020), residen en países donde se recomendó o exigió el cierre de los lugares de trabajo. Ser capaces de adaptarse y desarrollar planes de contingencia para cumplir con a las nuevas medidas que se tomaron en el nuevo entorno resulto todo un reto en muchos aspectos (OIT, 2022. ). El teletrabajo, la única opción para mantener la actividad en estas circunstancias excepcionales, se define como una modalidad laboral a distancia que usa las tecnologías de la información y las comunicaciones para alcanzar sus objetivos (Ministerio de las TICs, Colombia, 2021). Durante esta crisis, la comunicación efectiva fue esencial para asegurar la seguridad, el bienestar de los empleados, la continuidad del negocio, la confianza y el apoyo de los grupos de interés. Sin embargo, surge un interrogante: ¿qué ocurrió después de la crisis sanitaria en las empresas presenciales que adoptaron la virtualidad, el teletrabajo o el trabajo remoto? ¿cómo se llevó a cabo la comunicación al transmitir información delicada como la misión, la visión, los objetivos, los valores o la ética de la empresa? El propósito de la investigación es describir los cambios generados en las empresas gracias a la implementación del teletrabajo. Para ello, como objetivos secundarios, se analizará como se llevó a cabo la comunicación interna y se describirá la adaptabilidad a la nueva situación de las diferentes las generaciones de los trabajadores.
