" 'Tra i reticolati': The Literature of Italian Prisoners of War in South Africa"

This study is the first to analyze the Italian-language newspaper published in the Zonderwater POW camp in South Africa, entitled "Tra i reticolati" that was published between 1941 and 1946. This publication provided local and foreign news, sports, and even published literary works written in Italian by the camp's inmates. As such, "Tra i reticolati" is an important primary source for the study of Italian South African literature.
