Like everyone else, I have been waiting for this game to be released since I preordered it in March/April 2017. The details are great. No question about it. However, the fast travel option is "no Bueno" and I hate paying for trains or coaches to take me everywhere. The game is basically the same as RDR1, but at least RDR1 had a zombie add-on. I beat the story mode and now I'm left wondering why I was so excited to get the game. Like, what the heck do I do now????
The game is very limiting. If you are wondering if you should buy the game, the answer is yes, but don't get your hopes up. Maybe buy the game when it goes on sale....Hopefully there will be some great add-ons coming in the future. Things you can't do include: fast travel "easily", build or customize your ranch, blow up or repair buildings, driving the train is underwhelming, high stakes poker on the riverboat is limited to the story mode, can't pick who you settle down with on your ranch (guy or gal), maybe I want to farm or ranch - why can't I?, WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO WITH ALL MY MONEY AT THE END OF THE GAME???? Maybe I'm just comparing it to the semi-limitless possibilities in Fallout.
