These Unifix cubes are an excellent tool for helping children develop an understanding of math concepts. They can be used individually or connected together to form larger numbers. They stay together snugly until they need to be taken apart. Then they slide apart quite easily without a great deal of effort. I purchased this set of cubes to use at home with my grandson; however, I used a much larger set for years at school with my second and third graders. They are especially helpful when teaching regrouping (composing/decomposing) of tens and ones in addition and subtraction of two-digit or three-digit numbers. When my grandson gets old enough to learn these operations, I will need to purchase additional sets to represent larger numbers. This is an excellent product which I highly recommend for home or classroom use.

These are very high quality, durable, easy to use math manipulatives. The box they are packaged in is also perfect for storing them in. Included is an instruction guide for those who may not be familiar with using them to teach math concepts. These are wonderful tools for hands on learners with the proper instruction. They are easy for students to use. The price I paid on Amazon was much less than I would have paid at a store for teachers.

These are great for use in my classroom with students. The quality is good, and they are easy to put together and take apart. I personally think there is one strange color in the box... a weird brownish reddish something, and I'd rather have seen something that's easier to see the difference in, like a purple or pink or some other color. I would like to buy more of these... but as a teacher, I'm always spending so much! I'm hoping to get my school to buy more for our students' use!!!

Not much to say, in a good way. My son (7) will use for assistance in some higher order math problems, and my daughter (5) likes to use for math and making patterns with the colors. We were introduced to this product via my daughter's school, where they begin using them in the pre-school room for basic counting and number value, etc.

Its a good teaching material but my 2yr old gets bored with it quite fast

I bought these for my kindergarten aged son to play and learn from. He uses these at school and had requested me to buy as a Christmas gift for him to be able to use at home. He has done some adding and subtracting with these cubes at home but has also built various things to play with (towers, "cars", buildings, etc).
