Features
- You will Emerge!
- Multiplayer finally comes to the epic open world RPGs of Bethesda Game Studios. Create your character with the S.P.E.C.I.A.L system and forge your own path in a new and untamed wasteland with hundreds of locations. Whether you journey alone or with friends, a new and unique Fallout adventure awaits.
- Mountain Splendorland!
- All-new graphics, lighting and landscape technology brings to life six distinct West Virginia regions. From the forests of Appalachia to the noxious crimson expanses of the Cranberry Bog, each region offers its own risks and rewards. Post-nuclear America has never looked so beautiful!

- The Power of the Atom!
- Go it alone or with fellow survivors to unlock access to the ultimate weapon Nuclear Missiles. This destruction also creates a high-level zone with rare and valuable resources. Do you protect or unleash the power of the atom? The choice is yours.

Fallout flat on it's back - EDIT after 1 month
After 1 month with the game and a couple of updates though, the game has reached a good playable state. The atomic shop is still a problem and prices being the main point going against it. Performance and graphics are still somewhat acceptable. Random crashes may occur on console. The main attraction from the game is the multiplayer aspect of it, and finding players and helping them brings joy. Story is short, somewhat good but some people might not like it so much lore wise. Raised the score from 1 star to 3. Waiting further update into 2019

- Reviewed in Canada on August 11, 2019Verified PurchaseI bought this product hoping that the game would have had its kinks ironed out and that it would be at least fun and interesting to play. I was wrong. Firstly, the kinks are still there. I was shooting enemies point blank without any reaction at all, and when i killed them they often fell through walls. Some of the locations were very poorly done. The fertilizer plant could have been exceptional as the player gradually discovered what the robots were making the fertilizer out of. Unfortunately, the developers simply alluded to the fact in logs and didn't bother to elaborate on any of the points, making the encounter tedious.
The worst part of this game is that you need to have an xbox gold membership to play it. That means that this game will cost you over 150 dollars if you want to play it over a whole year. It is simply not worth it.
- Reviewed in Canada on January 31, 2020Verified PurchaseThe game is terrible but that is not the sellers fault. Bethesda really screwed the pooch on this game...

5.0 out of 5 stars Don’t believe the haters this is a fun Fallout (different, but fun)
Verified PurchaseFallout 76: Wastelanders - Xbox One: $13.23 at the time of review
I’ll keep this one short and sweet. I felt compelled to review this game (even three years later) because I ended up with over 200 hours in it. I’ve been a hardcore Fallout fan since 1997 when the first Isometric top-down game came out. Something about that post-apocalyptic world just grabbed me and I’ve been hooked ever since.
*What I liked*:
It’s basically more Fallout 4. It’s built using the same engine, has a lot of the same mechanics, and basically extends that experience, but with other people.
The setting of West Virginia with its rolling hills and local legends is an awesome place to explore. Like other Fallout games, this just made me want to visit the region to see some of the local sites in real life.
The building aspect was expanded from FO4 and I really enjoy that part of it. It’s especially fun to see what other people have built.
They have added a ton of new content. There’s so much to do.
*What I didn't like*:
Choosing to leave NPCs out of the game at the beginning was a huge mistake. The mystery of where everyone went was fun at first, but we really needed to eventually meet some people. They did fix that in a later patch. But I think that was just not a good choice.
There is a prolific amount of cheating in this game with item duplication. If you want to be competitive in the all-out PvP mode, you need to have one of the duplicated super (perfectly rolled) weapons. Otherwise, you just get wasted.
*The Bottom Line:*
As mentioned above, I have over 200 hours in the game so they obviously did something right. Five stars out of five for a southern-flavored Fallout that’s super fun. I would do it all over again.
