Community updates: Call for Abstracts

As we continue to build upon our research nexus vision, we want to shine a spotlight on the impactful work happening across our community. To this end, we’re inviting you all to consider sharing your work in a flash-talk during the event, along with a virtual poster session that will be featured on our community forum. Submit abstracts (up to 250 words) to share your stories and insights by 4th October.

We’re looking to cover highlights on the following topics:

Metadata works: Share unique or new ways of using Crossref metadata in different ways, including research, new tools, or methodologies that enhance research discoverability, reproducibility, or transparency.

Our better metadata story: Share experiences and strategies for overcoming metadata-related challenges in your organisation, such as data quality, standardization, or integration.

Globally connected and inclusive Research Nexus: Stories about enriching influence of globally diverse metadata contributions to our global network.

Case studies: Share highlights of a case study or experiences that showcase effective use of Crossref tools, APIs, and metadata for supporting research and collaboration.

If you’d like to be considered, please submit details of your poster/talk with the form below by 4th October.

Feel free to submit the abstract in your own language.

After reviewing the submitted abstracts, we will share the results and specifications for poster submissions and inform selected speakers about the flash-talk slot assignments by 11th October.

Unless you’d like to instruct us otherwise, we will upload all posters to Zenodo on the authors’ behalf.
