The Manchester Cheese Crawl at St Ann’s Square, City Centre Until 28 August 2026 Tickets from £25 — Book now

Cheese is arguably one of the most decadent and delicious food types, with never ending variation and the perfection with which it so naturally complements wine. Whilst getting to know the city of Manchester, why not discover it through Manchester Cheese Crawl, a two hour walking tour that is a true homage to all things fromage.

Starting in St. Anne’s Square you’ll make your way to Tib Street in the Northern Quarter via independent delis and cheese mongers who have plenty of passion for our favourite dairy based delights. Your easy going guide will combine the knowledge of experts and their own experience to immerse you in the cheese making process. Aside from the genuinely educational side of the tour, you can be sure to expect a few cheesy jokes along the way as well. Expect to be immersed in the culture of cultured milk unlike you’ve ever experienced it before.

There will be plenty of time for tastings with a mixture of cheese makers from local farms to further a field. At certain points in the tour there will be opportunity to accompany the cheeses with its partner in crime, a glass of wine. You can also look forward to a cheesy quiz as part of the experience to really separate those who know their curds from their whey.

Numbers are currently limited so it’s advisable to book in advance. Tours run every Saturday at 12 and 3 pm.
