Why this petition matters
Appeal to United Nation Human Rights Council & Supreme Court of Pakistan
We write this appeal with grave concern and distress over the unchecked atrocities committed by Major General Faisal Naseer aka Dirty Harry. We cannot sit idly by and allow Faisal Naseer to continue his reign of terror in Pakistan. His fascist criminal activities nominated by the victims, including an assassination attempt on former Prime Minister Imran Khan, the murder of journalist Arshad Sharif, and the unlawful kidnappings and brutal custodial torture of political workers and journalists, are heinous and unforgivable.
Faisal Naseer has shown complete disregard for the rule of law and the fundamental rights of citizens. His alleged actions pose a direct threat to the stability and security of Pakistan. We cannot allow him to continue with impunity.
As a society, we demand justice and accountability for these atrocities. We call for the immediate resignation, arrest and trial of Faisal Naseer for the worst human rights violations committed against the citizens of Pakistan.
The fabricated allegations and more than 100 FIRs against Imran Khan are a blatant attempt to throw Pakistan into chaos, delay elections and derail democracy. Imran Khan's life is also in grave danger, and he is asked to appear in courts without adequate security arrangements. The authorities must act swiftly and decisively to bring Faisal Naseer to justice and send a clear message to all those who would seek to undermine the rule of law.
The culture of impunity surrounding these atrocities must end now. We demand a fair public trial for these heinous crimes so Faisal Naseer is investigated and all those responsible are held accountable for crimes that have been committed against the people of Pakistan.
UPDATE
The Pakistani state commits gross human rights violations on March 8th, 2023
The abuse of power and violation of human rights by Major General Faisal Naseer and his accomplices continues unchecked and this must not be tolerated by the judiciary in Pakistan and the international community.
The most recent unlawful arrests of peaceful protestors from a rally in Lahore and the custodial torture and murder of differently abled person, Ali Bilal aka Zille Shah, is a clear violation of human rights. We demand justice for Zille Shah and all victims of custodial torture in Pakistan. All those responsible for these heinous atrocities must be held accountable.
We demand justice for Zille Shah and all victims of custodial torture in Pakistan. It is time to hold those in power accountable for their actions and create a safer and more just world for all. We urge the Supreme Court of Pakistan and the United Nations Human Rights Committee to take immediate action against Major General Faisal Naseer, Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab- Mohsin Naqvi, and IG Punjab - Usman Anwar for their alleged involvement in this grave human rights violation.
We also call for the protection of political leaders - including Imran Khan - who face serious threats to their lives from Major General Faisal Naseer's ongoing campaign of terror. Any threats to their lives must be condemned, and measures must be taken to guarantee their safety.
The upcoming elections in Pakistan are significant and a just and transparent electoral process must be supported. We stand for democracy and justice, and we ask for your support to ensure the same.
