I was able to understand the format, and yeah, I was also able to help others understand it so that they could be successful. Indeed, helped me get into an entry level position. In people the labor force they put me on with the right bosses and the correct type of people looking for a dedicated hardworking young man

The thing that I liked the most about indeed would have to be the ease of operation. You log in, are you type in your credentials? You upload your resume, you create a profile. Indeed, also helps with custom resume formats. And based upon your skills and the type of work you are looking for They give you a very large, long list possible work using. Indeed, it is certain that you will get a job

Ulemper:

The thing that I disliked the most about indeed was having to learn how to use the software by myself. There was no introduction to the website. There was no instructions on what to do. What to look for how to upload? Hey, resume, how to build a resume? You needed to find all That on your own. But after exploring the website for a week or 2, you get the hang of it very fast and you are able to to set up Very easily

Kommentarer: My overall experience with indeed has been 7/10. I spent months fighting for my employer account back after a mistake that someone in my company made. Indeed was very hard to get in touch with until I didn’t stop calling or giving up…it’s hard to actually talk to a human at indeed. Other than that, my experience has been great! I’ve made several hires on the application.

Indeed had access to a very large candidate pool, allowing you to make hiring easier than other job applications.

Ulemper:

Some jobs get flagged easily by indeed and they offer no insight as to why or how that happened. Some of the people that use indeed mass-report jobs because they think they are “scam post” but they aren’t.

Satisfy your job need with Indeed

Kommentarer: My overall experience with Indeed's platform left me with a good experience. While using the Indeed platform I was able to land several interviews and communicate with many employers.

Indeed is a unique job recruit platform. What makes Indeed unique, and what I most like about this platform is it's unique follow up messaging system. Once you apply to a job you receive a follow up email from indeed. The follow up email informs you that you applied, and if you want to message the recruiter as a reminder to follow up. Another quality I liked about indeed is how you can create a resume according to your unique job experience.

Ulemper:

What I like least about Indeed is the unbalanced access to a certain job category. It is true that their is a diversity of job categories, but there is a certain type of work roles I applied to that indeed did not have much of. This is just my opinion and will be a different experience with other individuals using the platform.

Both Sides Are Bad

The only pro is that the platform is well known, so there are a lot of users to choose from.

Indeed is one of the worst platforms, from both a hiring and recruiting perspective. Having been through both sides of the system, I can confidently say that it has been absolutely terrible in both roles. Firstly, the user interface is horrendous. Navigating through the site is confusing and time-consuming, with many essential features either challenging to find or non-functional. This poor design results in a frustrating experience for recruiters trying to manage job applications and job postings. On top of that, when posting a job listing, it was randomly taken down without any given reason. This experience occurred despite Indeed continuously targeting us with promotions and encouraging us to post job listings on their site. This inconsistency and lack of communication make it extremely unreliable for companies trying to attract talent. Given these significant drawbacks, I strongly recommend staying away from Indeed. There are far more user-friendly and reliable job platforms available that provide better service and consistent support for both jobseekers & recruiters.

Indeed is great

Kommentarer: I've had great interviews, and landed great jobs with Indeed.

Indeed matches you with companies and positions you choose, as well as companies that fit your resume. When they pick a company for you they let you know the skills you have that fit that position. You will also know if you asked for something the company does not offer, like a certain pay rate or hours of work available.

Ulemper:

Some positions that are posted are fake or not legitimate.

I have used indeed both to find jobs and to place ads for jobs. The set up they have for hiring is very simple. I love how easy it was to go through applicants and communicate with them.

Ulemper:

There could be more fail-safes to keep people from applying to jobs they are not qualified for, which I feel would save time for applicants and employers.

High visibility of your job ads

High visibility. Large database of applicants. Easy for applicants to reach you. High visibility of reviews of your business.

Ulemper:

The email that generates for applicants cannot be used for google videos, so you need to ask them a real email to send them the link. Also you need to repost your ad periodically to have it more visible.

Consistant Use

Kommentarer: Overall we look at how many hires versus the money we spent and we do see a ROI, not high but it goes pay for itself.

Indeed has been great for us as I do believe it reaches all geograpghic regions.

It does cost a lot for the outreach. We would love to use it more for postings.

Indeed Bittersweet

Kommentarer: My overall experience with Indeed has been a love and hate relationship. Since it is the leading program helping people find jobs we are at it's mercy as it pertains to policy changes and pricing.

Fordeler:

Indeed streamlines applications from potential employees and lets you reach out to them via their many messaging options. The preset templates are a huge help in reaching out to a big number of people at the same time. The amount of people using indeed is also a huge positive for the program as it seems it is the only way to hire and get hired right now. Their assessments and customization of the hiring ad is also a very big plus, if the applicant decides to do them.

Ulemper:

Indeed has many small underlying problems. One of the biggest is the ability for employees to rate employers. Often times this is misused by disgruntled employees and they will leave fraudulent negative reviews. Where this becomes a problem is that there is no resources to deal with fraudulent employer reviews and often times leads potential employees to shy away from applying or withdraw their application because of someone else's experience. Another negative aspect of Indeed is the way Indeed lets you pay for these services. Often times leading you to overspend on a job posting, you can either set a spending limit or pay by the application. Problem is if you are not sponsoring your hiring ad, it will significantly inhibit your hiring ad from being seeing by potential employees.

Indeed is great for everyone! Anyone seeking or offering new opportunities should use Indeed

I love every single feature that I have ever used, or experienced on Indeed! The skills assessments and scoring that they provide are amazing! The option to share the results and/or view them is very convenient! The amount of communication they give about your profile and interactions with the companies or individuals is impressive, not to mention the help they offer to anyone and everyone!

There is nothing even slightly missing, wrong, or needing improvements when it comes to Indeed!

I love that when i look for a job after settings i can get a job notification due to my profile.

The ease of posting adds and receiving responses in my email.

I didn't get as many responses with Indeed as I got with a different hiring tool.

Where my career is revived

Kommentarer: The indeed platform is a main stay for me anytime I am on the internet. I have had jobs and contracts through indeed

Indeed is an online job board that gives me access to countless number of jobs per day. They even send me emails on daily basis to find new jobs in specified locations. I am overly impressed by indeed and would recommend it to anyone that is looking for breakthrough in their career.

It is not easy to differentiate between fake and real accounts online which is a drawback. However, the features are great.

There is a way of reviewing on the indeed platform, from current and former employees, which can provide valuable insights into company culture, salary ranges, and workplace conditions. Indeed also provides tools for building resume . Candidate Pool on Indeed has millions of active users, which increases the chances of finding qualified candidates. Employers can post jobs for free or choose paid options to boost their listings.

Ulemper:

Given its popularity, many candidates apply for the same positions, which can make it harder to stand out. Some listings may not be legitimate, and job seekers need to exercise caution. due to the large volume of applicants, sorting through unqualified candidates can be time-consuming even with Indeed’s filtering tools. Paying to post on indeed can be costly , free job postings tend to receive less visibility. Indeed doesn’t offer in-depth profile information as some professional networks (like LinkedIn), which can make it harder for employers to understand a candidate’s full background.

Indeed- Helps us keep projects staffed!

Kommentarer: Indeed has helped us to keep our projects staffed by qualified candidates. Once we open our post, we can quickly find qualified candidates and fill our open projects. Sometimes we have filled an open project from viewing application to having the agent work on there own, in only a week!

Indeed is a one stop shop in helping us find qualified candidates quickly. The website automatically weeds out candidates based on preset qualifications so that we do not need to spend more time than necessary on those we do not want to move foward with. Those that we would like to, the website allows us to easily contact.

Ulemper:

The website runs a little clunky sometimes, so if you are trying to work you way through quickly, you may not be able to. Things don't load, you have to start a list over, or messages don't send right away. This can be frustrating if you are in a hurry. But the pros outweigh these issues for us.
