MINES WELLNESS CITY (formerly known as Mines Resort City) is an integrated Health and Wellness resort city in Malaysia. It is both an expansion and transformation of the current MINES Resort City. The expansion of the city is part of the government’s Economic Transformation Plan (ETP) which is spearheaded by PEMANDU (Performance Management and Delivery Unit), under the Prime Minister’s Department. It was announced on 11 January 2011 by the Prime Minister of Malaysia Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

MINES Resort City is located in Seri Kembangan, Selangor. The land was formerly the world's largest open cast tin mine. It consists of Palace of the Golden Horses, Mines Wellness Hotel, Golden Horses Health Sanctuary, The Mines Shopping Mall, MINES Waterfront Business Park, MINES Resort & Golf Club, Mines Convention Centre (MIECC), The Heritage Residences and Retail. History

The current Mines Wellness City was formerly the site of the Hong Fatt Mine, which was the largest opencast tin mine in the world, covering 1,300 acres (530 ha), including the lakes. Malaysian Government alienated the land to Country Heights Holdings Bhd (CHHB) on 30 March 1988 for the development of recreational and tourism. Country Heights Holdings Berhad is founded by Y.Bhg. Tan Sri Dato' Paduka Lee Kim Yew and incorporated officially on 10 May 1984 under a private limited company with the name of Kurniata Sdn Bhd.

Thémines is a commune in the Lot department in south-western France.

Thomas Oliver may refer to:

Thomas Oliver (March 1821 – November 8, 1880) was an Ontario businessman and political figure. He represented Oxford North in the Canadian House of Commons as a Liberal member from 1867 to 1880.

He was born in Kildonan, Sutherland, Scotland. He taught school there for two years and came to Zorra Township in Oxford County, Upper Canada, where he taught school for several years. Oliver then moved to Woodstock, where he became a dry goods merchant. He served on the town council, becoming reeve for Woodstock and was county warden in 1866. He was elected in the North riding of Oxford in an 1866 by-election held following the death of Hope Fleming Mackenzie and served until Confederation; in 1867, he was elected to the House of Commons and served until his death in Woodstock in 1880.

P. France & Co. in their 1850 book “Songs of the Bards of the Tyne gives three works “Canny Newcastle Again””, “Stream of a Thousand Fallen Adieu”, (both attributed to T. Oliver), and “Yon Orb is Sinking” (attributed to Thomas Oliver).

None of these three songs are written in the Geordie dialect, although they are written about Newcastle, Northumberland and North East England.
