I Created Disco is the debut studio album by Scottish recording artist Calvin Harris, released on 15 June 2007 by Columbia Records. It was preceded by the singles "Acceptable in the 80s" and "The Girls", which reached numbers ten and three on the UK Singles Chart, respectively.

The album debuted at number eight on the UK Albums Chart with first-week sales of 16,121 copies. On 23 May 2008, it was certified gold by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI).I Created Disco had sold 223,845 copies in the United Kingdom by November 2014.

Writing and recording

Writing and recording for I Created Disco started in 2006 when Harris moved back to his hometown of Dumfries, Scotland, after living in London for two years. All recording and producing for the album took place on an Amiga computer with audio tracker OctaMED in Harris's home studio, called Calvinharrisbeats Studio. All fourteen tracks on the album were written, produced and performed solely by Harris.

Promotion

Preceding the release of the album, Columbia released two singles, "Acceptable in the 80s" and "The Girls", and Harris and his band supported both Faithless and Groove Armada on their live arena tours in the second quarter of 2007. The album cover was also used to promote the fourth generation iPod Nano in yellow.

Titanium is a New Zealand pop boy band formed in Auckland in 2012 from the winners of The Edge radio station's competition to create New Zealand's second boy band. The Edge radio station hosted auditions across New Zealand and eventually six young men were selected for the group consisting of members, Zac Taylor, Andrew Papas, Jordi Webber, Shaquille Paranihi-Ngauma, Haydn Linsley and T.K Paradza. They signed to Illegal Musik and released their debut single, "Come On Home". The single debuted at number one on the official New Zealand Singles Chart on 17 September 2012. Titanium released their debut studio album, All For You in December 2012. They became the first New Zealand band to have three songs in the Top 40 Singles Chart at one time.

2012: Formation

The Edge radio station began a nationwide search to find six young men to form a boy band. Auditions were held across New Zealand. Ten finalists were chosen and sent to "Boyband Camp". At the end of the week public voting for the guys opened and in conjunction with a panel of experts from The Edge, Illegal Musik and Warner Music the final six members were announced and became Titanium. Shortly after releasing their first single "Come On Home" which debuted at number one, the band announced a 15-date Come On Home Tour.

Colours is the second studio album by Mark de Jong and Norman Lenden as Mark Norman under Magik Muzik, a sub-label from Black Hole Recordings. All tracks with the exception of "Talk Like a Stranger" and "One Moon Circling" were produced and composed by Mark Norman To celebrate the release of the album, Mark Norman's management Global Twist Music prepared a world tour, supported by V Media Creative.

Gregory James Bownds (born 20 February 1977) better known by his stage name TNT, is an Australian professional wrestler and promoter, currently owning and promoting the Australasian Wrestling Federation.

Bownds is one of the more experienced active wrestlers in Australia, being the owner of the AWF promotions and headlining for many other independent promotions across Australia. Bownds has also wrestled in Japan, where he has worked for Pro Wrestling ZERO1-MAX, and Dragon Gate, one of very few Australian wrestlers to do so. He also has studied Mexican lucha libre wrestling whilst in Mexico. He also organises wrestling shows Australia wide for the Supanova Pop Culture Expo.

Career

Beginning

Bownds wrestled as "Tommy the Cat" and then "TNT Kid" for World Wide Wrestling and Australian Championship Wrestling. He won the Australasian Tag Team Championship with Kiss before leaving the promotion after a backstage dispute and vacated the title. In 1998 Bownds defeated Mark Mercedes for the ACW Australian Heavyweight title in Fairfield, New South Wales when he was 21 years old. From here Bownds moved to International Wrestling Australia in 1998 where he became a popular face. An ankle injury put him out of action for six months in 1999 until he formed the Australasian Wrestling Federation.

TNT is a television station based in Launceston, Tasmania, Australia. Originally broadcasting only to Launceston and Northern Tasmania, it has broadcast to the whole of Tasmania since aggregation of the Tasmanian television market in 1994. It is now known as Southern Cross Tasmania.

TnT (also referred to as Tara & Tessmacher) was a professional wrestling tag team, consisting of Tara and Brooke Tessmacher. The team was working with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling.

TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions (2011)

At the tapings of the July 21 edition of Impact Wrestling, Tara and Miss. Tessmacher defeated Mexican America (Rosita and Sarita) to win the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championship. With the win, Tara became one of six TNA Knockouts (along with Angelina Love, Awesome Kong, Madison Rayne, Taylor Wilde and Gail Kim) to have held both the Knockouts Championship and Knockouts Tag Team Championship. Tessmacher and Tara made their first title defense on August 7 at Hardcore Justice, defeating Mexican America in a rematch. On the September 29 edition of Impact Wrestling, Tara was defeated by her former partner Madison Rayne in a match to determine the third and final challenger for the Women's Knockout Championship at Bound for Glory. On October 20 edition of Impact Wrestling Tara and Tessmacher made their second title defence defeating Angelina Love and Winter. On the November 3 edition of Impact Wrestling, Tara and Tessmacher lost the Knockouts Tag Team Championship to Gail Kim and Madison Rayne. On the November 17 episode of Impact Wrestling, both members of TnT, competed in a gauntlet match to earn a title match with the new Women's Knockout Champion, Gail Kim, but were both eliminated. Brooke was eliminated by Velvet Sky and Tara was eliminated by Mickie James who would go on to win the gauntlet match.
