Mighty Mighty were an indie band formed in Birmingham, England in the mid-1980s.
Showing influences from Postcard Records bands such as Orange Juice, they came to prominence when featured on the NME's C86 compilation, at around the same time that they released their debut single "Everybody Knows The Monkey". This was soon followed by a 12" single, "Is There Anyone Out There?", before the band signed to Chapter 22 Records, releasing a string of well-received singles and the album Sharks in 1988. With their brand of indie pop giving way to American influenced rock and shoegazing, they split in 1988.
Continuing interest in the band saw the reissue of Sharks in 2000, the release of a compilation album of BBC session tracks in 2001, and two compilations of singles and unreleased tracks in 2000 and 2001.
They reformed for the Indietracks music festival in 2009.
They played Popfest Berlin in 2010, followed by Firestation Records of Berlin issuing their 'lost second album', The Betamax Tapes, on vinyl and CD, 25 years after it was recorded, in 2012.
"Mighty Mighty" is a song by R&B band Earth, Wind & Fire which was written by Maurice White and Verdine White. It was released in 1974 as a single and included on the band's 1974 album, Open Our Eyes.
"Mighty Mighty" peaked at numbers 4 and 29 on the Billboard R&B and Pop Singles charts.
Towards the end of the song, Philip Bailey utilizes his whistle register and successfully hits notes up to E♭7.
"Settle Down" is a song by American rock band No Doubt. It is the first single from their sixth studio album Push and Shove (2012). Written by Gwen Stefani, Tony Kanal, Tom Dumont, and produced by Spike Stent, it was released on July 16, 2012 by Interscope Records. The song is a combination of many styles, such as reggae, ska, dancehall, Latin and Caribbean-tinged beats, merging with American pop and rock music. Lyrically, the song is about confidence and about feeling good, adjusting yourself to unfamiliar circumstances.
The song received positive reviews from music critics, who praised the band for "returning to form" and for being familiar with their other songs. Some critics wrote that it resembles the songs from their fifth album Rock Steady, and particularly "Hey Baby", while some others compared it to Santigold songs.
A music video for the song was directed by Sophie Muller and released on July 16, 2012. In it, the members of No Doubt reassemble in the form of a trucking convoy, which meets up to perform the song in a parking lot. It received mostly favorable reviews, with the reviewers praising the colors, lights and the band for returning to do videos.
"Settle Down" is a song by English indie rock band The 1975. The song was originally recorded by the band for their eponymous debut studio album The 1975, where it appears as the ninth track. It impacted contemporary hit radio in the United Kingdom on 24 February 2014, serving as the fifth overall single release from The 1975. "Settle Down" was added to the playlist of British national radio station BBC Radio 1 on 20 January 2014.
All songs written and composed by George Daniel, Matthew Healy, Adam Hann, Ross MacDonald.

Settle Down is the fourth studio album by American singer-songwriter Julia Nunes.
Nunes launched a Kickstarter page for her fourth album on June 11, 2011, . She exceeded her goal of $15,000 in less than a day, receiving over $19,000. The project gathered $77,888 total in donations. The album was released on February 28, 2012.
"He is Mad", "Pizza", and "I Wasn't Worried" are mini-songs roughly a minute in length, all of which Nunes recorded videos for and posted to YouTube. Other songs, like "Odd", "Balloons", "First Impressions", "Comatose", and "Into the Sunshine" appeared on previous albums, but were re-recorded for Settle Down.
Nunes updated the Kickstarter project page with a video of her performing "Stay Awake" in the Kickstarter offices (thanks to the overwhelming success of her campaign). On January 24, 2012, she performed "Stay Awake" on Conan to promote the album.
Settle or SETTLE may refer to:
In winemaking, clarification and stabilization are the processes by which insoluble matter suspended in the wine is removed before bottling. This matter may include dead yeast cells (lees), bacteria, tartrates, proteins, pectins, various tannins and other phenolic compounds, as well as pieces of grape skin, pulp, stems and gums. Clarification and stabilization may involve fining, filtration, centrifugation, flotation, refrigeration, pasteurization, and/or barrel maturation and racking.
In wine tasting, a wine is considered "clear" when there are no visible particles suspended in the liquid and, especially in the case of white wines, when there is some degree of transparency. A wine with too much suspended matter will appear cloudy and dull, even if its aroma and flavor are unaffected; wines therefore generally undergo some kind of clarification.
Before fermentation, pectin-splitting enzymes and, for white wine, fining agents such as bentonite may be added to the must in order to promote the agglomeration and settling of colloids later. Pectins are structural molecules in the cell walls of fruits which have the important function of 'gumming' plant cells together. The pectin content of grapes increases steadily throughout ripening, reaching levels of about 1 g/l, although it varies by varietal and pre-fermentation handling processes. Large pectin molecules can affect the amount of juice yielded at pressing, ease of filtration and clarification, and extraction of tannins. Grapes contain natural pectolytic enzymes responsible for softening the grape berries during ripening, but these are not active under wine-making conditions (due to pH level, SO2, and alcohol.) Therefore, fungal pectolytic enzymes are often added to white must to break up pectins, decrease the viscosity of the juice, and speed up settling. In red musts, this increases color and tannin extraction.
Walk around, why wear a frown
Say little people, try to put you down
What you need, a helpin' hand
All the strength, at your command
How's ya faith? Cause ya faith is you
Who you kiddin', to yourself be true
Spread ya love, for a brighter day
For what ya search, you'll find a way
We are people, of the mighty
Mighty people of the sun
In our hearts lies all the answers
To the truth you can't run from
Eagle flies, every seven days
Still cryin the blues, all about ya pay
What ya gonna do? Bout your living thang
Will ya make it better, or just complain
Everday is real, don't run from fear
Cause better days are very near
There are times when you are bound to cry
One more time, head to the sky
We are people, of the mighty
Mighty people of the sun
In our hearts lies all the answers
