Bicalutamide (brand names Casodex, Cosudex, Calutide, Kalumid) is a synthetic, non-steroidal, pure antiandrogen used in the treatment of prostate cancer, hirsutism, and other androgen-dependent conditions. Developed and marketed by AstraZeneca, bicalutamide was approved in 1995 as a combination treatment (with a gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) analogue (e.g., leuprorelin) or surgical castration) for stage D2 metastatic prostate cancer, and has since also been approved and used, for instance in Germany, as a monotherapy for the treatment of an earlier stage of the disease, stage C or D1 locally advanced prostate cancer. Prior to the approval of enzalutamide, a recently introduced, newer non-steroidal antiandrogen with improved effectiveness, bicalutamide was regarded as the standard-of-care antiandrogen for the treatment of prostate cancer.
It is on the WHO Model List of Essential Medicines, the most important medications needed in a basic health system.
Gautama Buddha, also known as Siddhārtha Gautama, Shakyamuni, or simply the Buddha, was a sage on whose teachings Buddhism was founded. He was born in Nepal and is believed to have lived and taught mostly in the eastern part of the Indian subcontinent sometime between the sixth and fourth centuries BCE.
The word Buddha means "awakened one" or "the enlightened one". "Buddha" is also used as a title for the first awakened being in a Yuga era. In most Buddhist traditions, Siddhartha Gautama is regarded as the Supreme Buddha (Pali sammāsambuddha, Sanskrit samyaksaṃbuddha) of the present age. Gautama taught a Middle Way between sensual indulgence and the severe asceticism found in the śramaṇa movement common in his region. He later taught throughout regions of eastern India such as Magadha and Kosala.
Gautama is the primary figure in Buddhism and accounts of his life, discourses, and monastic rules are believed by Buddhists to have been summarized after his death and memorized by his followers. Various collections of teachings attributed to him were passed down by oral tradition and first committed to writing about 400 years later.
In Buddhism, buddhahood (Sanskrit: बुद्धत्व buddhatva, Pali: बुद्धत्त buddhatta or बुद्धभाव buddhabhāva) is the condition or rank of a buddha (/ˈbuːdə/ or /ˈbʊdə/, Sanskrit pronunciation: [ˈbud̪d̪ʱə], Pali/Sanskrit for "awakened one"). The goal of Mahayana's Bodhisattva path is Samyaksambuddhahood, so that one may benefit all sentient beings.
In Theravada Buddhism, Buddha refers to one who has become awakened through their own efforts and insight, without a teacher to point out the Dharma (Sanskrit; Pali dhamma; "right way of living"). A samyak sambuddha teaches the dharma to others after his awakening. A pratyeka-buddha also reaches Nirvana through his own efforts, but does not teach the dharma to others. An Arhat needs to follow the teaching of a Buddha to attain Nirvana, but can also preach the dharma after attaining Nirvana. In one instance the term buddha is also used in Theravada to refer to all who attain Nirvana, using the term Sāvakabuddha to designate an Arhat, someone who depends on the teachings of a Buddha to attain Nirvana. In this broader sense it is equivalent to Arahant.
Buddah Records (later known as Buddha Records) was founded in 1967 in New York City. The label was born out of Kama Sutra Records, an MGM Records-distributed label, which remained a key imprint following Buddah's founding. Buddah handled a variety of music genres, including bubblegum pop (the Ohio Express and the 1910 Fruitgum Company), folk-rock (Melanie), experimental music (Captain Beefheart), and soul (Gladys Knight & the Pips).
In addition to the Buddah imprint, the company distributed many other independent labels, including Kama Sutra Records (after Kama Sutra cut their distribution ties with MGM in 1969), Curtom Records (Curtis Mayfield), T-Neck Records (the Isley Brothers), Charisma Records (Genesis, Monty Python), Sussex Records (Bill Withers), Hot Wax Records (Holland-Dozier-Holland post-Motown productions) and smaller subsidiaries.
Kama Sutra Records helped bolster MGM Records' profits during 1965 and 1966, primarily due to the success of Kama Sutra's flagship artists The Lovin' Spoonful. Kama Sutra's head, Art Kass ultimately grew dissatisfied with his distribution deal with MGM and started Buddah Records in 1967, with his Kama Sutra partners, Artie Ripp, Hy Mizrahi, Phil Steinberg, and (allegedly)Italian mobster Sonny Franzese.

C'est bien ici-bas
Que j'ai voulu
la guerre
Je rentre chez moi
Tu n'es pas là
Que suis-je sans toi
C'est bien ici-bas
Que j'ai voulu
la liesse
Drôle de vie
Qui fait, pauvre de moi,
Un pantin de bois
C'est comme un long chapelet
Qui porte ton nom
Que j'égrène en vain
Je compte mes prières
Balader mon spleen
Et m'étourdir est bon
Je pense à la fuite
De tous mes rêves
Toi Marie qui voit
Du haut de ton donjon
Colonie de pantins
De pauvres hères
L'âme éperdue
Plongée dans la confusion
Je t'en prie, sois là
Exauce mes prières
C'est bien ici-bas
Que j'ai voulu
la guerre
Je rentre chez moi
Tu n'es pas là
Que suis-je sans toi
C'est bien ici-bas
Que j'ai voulu
la liesse
Drôle de vie
Qui fait, pauvre de moi,
Un pantin de bois
C'est comme un doux vent qui
Gémit et je plonge
Un à un mes yeux dans l'onde
Et la lumière
partager mon spleen
Et m'étourdir est bon
Je pense à nos âmes
Qui s'élèvent
Toi Marie qui voit
Du haut de ton donjon
Combien je vacille
Combien je peine
Je fais vœux de vie
Vœux de contemplation
Exauce-moi oh j'existe
Pour Qu'on m'aime
C'est bien ici-bas
Que j'ai voulu
la guerre
Je rentre chez moi
Tu n'es pas là
Que suis-je sans toi
C'est bien ici-bas
Que j'ai voulu
la liesse
Drôle de vie
Qui fait, pauvre de moi,
Un pantin de bois
C'est bien ici-bas
Que j'ai voulu
la guerre
Je rentre chez moi
Tu n'es pas là
Que suis-je sans toi
C'est bien ici-bas
Que j'ai voulu
la liesse
Drôle de vie
Qui fait, pauvre de moi,
Un pantin de bois
C'est bien ici-bas
Que j'ai voulu

Je rentre chez moi
Tu n'es pas là
Que suis-je sans toi
C'est bien ici-bas
