Three in the Attic is a 1968 movie, starring Christopher Jones and Yvette Mimieux, with Judy Pace and Maggie Thrett. Nan Martin, John Beck, and Eve McVeagh appear in supporting roles.

Premise

Jones plays Paxton Quigley, a lothario who swears his fidelity to all three of the women he is dating, who are unaware of his deception. When they learn the truth about Paxton, the women lure him into a college dormitory attic, where they each take turns tormenting and pampering Paxton physically.

Plot

Paxton Quigley (Christopher Jones), a renowned womanizer, is a student at the fictional Willard College for Men, located one mile away from the fictional Fulton College for women. The schools are located in small college communities in the middle of Vermont.

After meeting at a Zeta Chi (ZX) fraternity party, Paxton and a Fulton undergrad, Tobey Clinton (Yvette Mimieux), begin dating. They then take their relationship to the next level by spending the summer together by the beach in Provincetown.

Toys in the Attic (Czech: Na půdě aneb Kdo má dneska narozeniny?; festival title: In the Attic: Who Has a Birthday Today?) is a 2009 Czech-French-Japanese-Slovak primarily stop-motion animated fantasy comedy thriller family film directed by Jiří Barta and written by Edgar Dutka and Barta which depicts a community of toys and other objects in an attic who come to life when no human is around. It is an international co-production of Czech, Japanese and Slovak companies. The film was released first in the Czech Republic on 5 March 2009 and has been shown subtitled at film festivals internationally. An American dub – adapted, produced and directed by Vivian Schilling and performed by actors including Forest Whitaker, Joan Cusack, Cary Elwes and Schilling herself – has been recorded, which the film was first shown with on 3 March 2012 at the New York International Children's Film Festival and was released nationally on 24 August 2012 by Hannover House.

The Attic is a Swedish house band duo whose members are Eric Amarillo (Erik Sundborg) and Michael Feiner that started under the name of Stereopol with the track 'Dancin' Tonight' in 2003. The two mostly perform house music songs of other artists, but they have also written their own songs.

They released a number of singles including "I Just Can't Help It", "Destiny", "In Your Eyes", "A Life To Live", "It's Beautiful" and "Baby". In 2006, they and Therese Grankvist recorded a song which they sent to Melodifestivalen; to their surprise the song was chosen to be performed in the festival. Therese, featuring The Attic, performed 'The Arrival' in the third semifinal, where they competed for the opportunity to represent Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 in Helsinki, Finland. On the 17th of February 2007 The Attic ft Therese came 7th in the semifinal and didn't qualify any further in the contest.

The band played a concert in central Chişinău, Moldova organised by mobile operator Orange on 24 May 2008.

The Attic was a popular 1,200 seat Smörgåsbord restaurant in West Vancouver that was open from 1968 to 1981. The owners were former Vancouver alderman Frank Baker, (1922 - 1989), and his wife Dorothy.

Unique features

The Attic is most remembered for a 1964 James Bond car in a glass case as well as a Toronado 67 X built by George Barris for Expo 67. Both cars were parked out front for public view and sold near the time of the restaurant's closing.

There was a statue of David in the women's washroom. When the leaf was lifted on this statue, alarms would sound and/or lights would flash alerting other patrons and causing embarrassment to the person who lifted it.

Lance Harrison and the Dixieland Band entertained patrons, with Baker playing his trumpet on many occasions. He would also greet people at the door playing it. Baker also had a 12' by 6' weather vane mounted on the roof of him playing a trumpet.

Baker's was an avid collector of Tiffany lamps. His huge collection, said to be "over a hundred", were in use throughout the restaurant.
