Living Proof is the 24th studio album by American singer-actress Cher, released in November 2001 in Europe by WEA Records. In the United States, the album was released on February 26, 2002 by Warner Bros. Records where it debuted at number nine on the Billboard 200 albums chart with first-week sales of 82,000 copies. The album has sold 520,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan and more than 1 million copies worldwide.

The lead single in Europe and Australia was "The Music's No Good Without You", while the United States received "Song for the Lonely". "The Music's No Good Without You" received major success in the UK, becoming a top ten hit, making Cher one of the few artists to have a top 10 hit in 5 consecutive decades. "Song for the Lonely" peaked at number 85 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number one on the Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart (one of four songs from the album to top the U.S. dance chart). "Alive Again" and "A Different Kind of Love Song" were follow-up singles. "A Different Kind of Love Song topped the Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play and chart on the Hot 100 at #105. Despite not being released as a single "When the Money's Gone" charted on the Hot 100 at #112.

Living Proof is Buddy Guy's 26th studio album. After nearly fifty years in the music business, this was Buddy's highest charting album ever (until the release of Rhythm & Blues in 2013), peaking at No. 46 on the main Billboard album chart. It won the 2011 Grammy for Best Contemporary Blues Album.

The album loosely follows the progression of Buddy Guy's life. "Living Proof was designed partially as an aural autobiography from the legendary Buddy Guy, opening up with the stark summation “74 Years Young,” then running through songs that often address some aspect of a working musician's life."
