Easy Now is the third album by American-born singer/songwriter Jeb Loy Nichols, released in 2002 on the Rykodisc record label.
Nichols' third release received mostly positive reviews. Allmusic.com said "The album is bookended by the two best songs he's written: "Letter to an Angel" and "Never Coming Back. Popmatters.com described it as "another inspiring touchstone on what looks like a long and promising future."
"Easy Now" is a pop rock song, written by the British rock musician Eric Clapton. He wrote and recorded the track for his 1970 studio album Eric Clapton for Polydor Records. The song was also released as the B-side to the singles "After Midnight" in 1970 and "Let It Rain" in 1972. The composition is also featured on the 1972 compilation album Eric Clapton at His Best. The recording was produced by Delaney Bramlett.
The song is played by Clapton on an steel-string acoustic guitar. The song is written in the key of F-sharp major. Music critic Scott Floman calls the song "comparatively overlooked" and notes, "[the] simple yet effective ballad featuring Eric's ever-improving singing alongside a lone acoustic guitar, is one of this underrated album’s most underrated efforts". Together with the A-side "After Midnight", the song reached various national single charts, including in Australia (#51), Canada (#10), Japan (#87), the Netherlands (#19), New Zealand (#17) and the United States (#18). Along with "Let It Rain", the track reached the single charts in Australia (#99), Canada (#42) and the United States (#48).

Yeah she... she's just a girl
Yeah she's just a small town girl
Livin' in a lonely world
And she rides that midnight train goin' anywhere
She's an easy mark
Yeah he... he's just a boy
Yeah he's a big city boy
Born and raised in South Detroit
And he catches that midnight train goin' anywhere
He's an easy mark
She lays down in the grass on Strawberry Hill
He is there smelling like nicotine and peanut butter
You gotta love her
Yeah she... she gets up off the floor
She says you can beat me all you want to
But I don't love you anymore
No I don't love you anymore
And she rides that midnight train goin' anywhere
She's an easy mark
I hate this world, this stupid world, this screwed up world
I hate this world, this fucking world
