Vivint Smart Home Arena is an indoor arena located in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States. The building is owned by Jazz Basketball Investors, Inc., the estate of Larry H. Miller. The arena is the home of the Utah Jazz of the National Basketball Association (NBA) and has been the home venue for other professional athletic teams such as the Utah Blaze of the Arena Football League and the Utah Starzz of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). It seats 19,911 for basketball, has 56 luxury suites, and 668 club seats.

Opened in 1991, the arena was known as the Delta Center, under a naming rights deal with Delta Air Lines which has a hub at Salt Lake City International Airport. Salt Lake City-based EnergySolutions purchased the naming rights in November 2006, after Delta decided not to renew their 15-year contract due to filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy the year prior. From 2006 to 2015 it was known as EnergySolutions Arena. On October 26, 2015, the arena was renamed as part of a 10-year naming rights contract with the Provo, Utah-based home security system provider Vivint.

Arena is a light rail station in Downtown Salt Lake City, Utah, in the United States, served by the Blue Line and Green Line of the Utah Transit Authority's (UTA) TRAX system. The Blue Line has service from the Salt Lake Intermodal Hub in Downtown Salt Lake City to Draper. The Green Line has service from the Salt Lake City International Airport and to West Valley City via Downtown Salt Lake City.

Description

The station is located at 301 West South Temple immediately north of the Vivint Smart Home Arena, with the island platform in the median of the street. The station opened on 4 December 1999, and was part of the first operating segment of the TRAX system. It is operated by the Utah Transit Authority. The station is included in the Free Fare Zone in Downtown Salt Lake City. Transportation patrons that both enter and exit bus or TRAX service within the Zone can ride at no charge. Unlike many TRAX stations, Arena does not have a Park and Ride lot.

All of UTA's TRAX and FrontRunner trains and stations, streetcars and streetcar stops, and all fixed route buses, are compliant with Americans with Disabilities Act and are therefore accessible to those with disabilities. Signage at the stations, on the passenger platforms, and on the trains clearly indicate accessibility options. Ramps on the passenger platform and assistance from the train operator may be necessary for wheelchair boarding on Blue Line (weekdays only). These ramps are not used on weekends or on the Green Line. In accordance with the Utah Clean Air Act and UTA ordinance, "smoking is prohibited on UTA vehicles as well as UTA bus stops, TRAX stations, and FrontRunner stations".

The Wisconsin Center (formerly Midwest Express Center, Midwest Airlines Center, Frontier Airlines Center and Delta Center) is a convention and exhibition center located in downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The center is part of a greater complex of buildings which includes the UW–Milwaukee Panther Arena and the Milwaukee Theatre, and was a replacement for the former Great Hall portion of the MECCA Complex. Up until July 1, 2013, the building was named after its sponsor Delta Air Lines when Delta purchased naming rights to the facility in August 2012. Delta later terminated its naming rights at the center on June 30, 2013 and the facility was officially renamed to "Wisconsin Center" on July 1, 2013.

Description

The building opened in 1998 and features 188,695 square feet (17,530.3 m²) of contiguous exhibit space along with a 37,506-square-foot (3,484.4 m²) ballroom. Naming rights were sold to Midwest Airlines. Skywalks connect the convention center to the nearby Hilton and Hyatt hotels. On April 13, 2010, Republic Airways Holdings CEO Bryan Bedford announced that the name would change to Frontier Airlines Center, coinciding with the consolidation of brands between Frontier and Midwest Airlines. On August 15, 2012, Delta Air Lines purchased the building's naming rights as part of the carrier's recent expansion at nearby General Mitchell International Airport. The facility changed its name from the Frontier Airlines Center to the Delta Center after Delta purchased naming rights to the building. The change was official September 19, 2012, and signage was replaced in November.
