Sisterhood is a network of young, aspiring Muslim female artists, spanning across creative disciplines and countries with a primary focus on Western-born young Muslim women. It was established in 2007 by Norwegian artist and human rights activist Deeyah Khan.
Sisterhood, through its projects and social media, brings young Muslim women across the world together to connect with each other to support and deal with the challenges they face artistically and culturally. Sisterhood creative initiatives promote discussion about: war, racism, love, romance, living in a post-9/11 world, women's rights issues, individual identity, sexuality, a sense of belonging, faith, and the personal experiences of being young, socially conscious Muslim women in the West. Sisterhood is an ongoing initiative and is today an organic movement consisting of young Muslim women based around the world, especially in the United Kingdom, Europe and the United States.

Sisterhood is a comedy feature film shot in London and Governors Bay, Christchurch, New Zealand and completed in 2008. It premiered in London's West End on 23 October 2008, followed by a theatrical release in the UK. It played in competition at the inaugural The Feel Good Film Festival in Los Angeles between 22–24 August.
The cast includes Nicholas Ball, Maria Charles, Rory McGregor, Graham McTavish, Isabelle Defaut, Emily Corcoran, Robert Faith and Jon Gadsby.
The film was directed by Richard Wellings-Thomas, written by Emily Corcoran and produced by Emily Corcoran, Tim Hart and A Sirokh.

The steamboat Daily operated in the early 1900s as part of the Puget Sound Mosquito Fleet. In later years, Daily was renamed Island Princess and later Cy Peck.
Daily was built in 1913 by Matthew McDowell at his yard at Caledonia, near Tacoma. Daily was one of the larger vessels built by Captain McDowell, 116' long, 25' on the beam, 8' depth of hold and rated at 254 tons.Daily was the seventh Puget Sound passenger and freight vessel built by Captain McDowell. Daily was a classic example of a mixed-used Puget Sound mosquito fleet vessel, as shown by photos published and drawings prepared by Professor Turner.
