"Empty Vial" begins with a lone pulsating bassline which reaches out through the speakers like a hand reaching out offering to take you on a surreal trip. Guided by heavy kicks and erratic percussion, Empty Vial takes you into a world with reverberated layers of dark ambience and strange electronic textures that scatter and dance out of your speakers. At times there is nothing except the peaceful drones of "pu just is" to float through, or the whimsical tones of "electric eels" that dissipate and drift beside an ever growing growling bassline. Empty Vial concludes with the crescendoing layers of arpeggios that contort into an intense mind altering ending.

Acidbat has been a staple of the Denver underground for well over a decade now. Influenced by Future Sounds of London, Aphex Twin and Plastikman, Acidbat uses analog hardware and modular gear to fuse dark techno, acid basslines, ambient soundscapes and experimental passages.
