El Pliensbachiense o Pliensbachiano es una división de la escala temporal geológica que corresponde con la tercera edad del Jurásico Inferior, primera época del período Jurásico. Esta edad se extiende de 192,9 ± 0,3 hasta 184,2 ± 0,3 millones de años atrás, aproximadamente.[1] El Pliensbachiense sucede a la edad Sinemuriense y precede a la Toarciense.
- Pleuroceras spinatum es el índice de una biozona en la parte superior del Pliensbachiense.
