Robert Pontarollo (born 12 November 1971)[1] a former Italian male canoeist who won thirteen medal at senior level at the Wildwater Canoeing World Championships.[2]
Biography
Pontarollo won five edition of Wildwater Canoeing World Cup (1994, 1995, 1996, 1998, 2002).[3]
He was the technical director of the Italy national wildwater canoeing team,[4] until 2017 when he was replaced by another Italian canoeing legend, Vladi Panato.[5]

Sul ponte di comando della discesa italiana Robert Pontarollo ha lasciato il testimone ad un'altra leggenda delle wildwater, quel Vladi Panato che ha vinto praticamente tutto da atleta e che dopo alcune stagioni da tecnico è stato designato da questo 2017 al vertice della direzione tecnica del settore discesa.
