The Houston Havoc are an American professional ultimate frisbee team based in Houston, Texas. The Havoc play in the South Division of the Ultimate Frisbee Association, formerly the American Ultimate Disc League.[1]

History

On November 18, 2022, the UFA announced that an expansion team based in Houston was slated to join the league in 2023. The team would share a stadium with the Houston SaberCats of Major League Rugby. The Havoc's founding came after the UFA lost two teams, the Tampa Bay Cannons and the Ottawa Outlaws.[2]

With the departure of the Cannons and the Outlaws, the UFA was left with 23 teams. The league had originally planned to bring a team to Houston in 2024, but it was decided that these plans would come to fruition one year sooner. The Havoc played their inaugural game against the Austin Sol on April 29, 2023.[3]

For the 2023 season, the Havoc had a record of 2-10 and finished 4th in the South Division.[4]
