Summary

Description
Entrance to Bryn Mawr College.
"Robindale," the suburban house of Charles P. Perkins, was designed by architect Frank Furness and built by contractor Levi H. Focht, circa 1883. It was sold to John S. Clarke in 1896, who hired architect Will Price to make major alterations, 1898. In 1964 it was purchased by Bryn Mawr College, and housed the Owl Bookstore for 27 years. It is a contributing structure in the Bryn Mawr College Historical District, and on the NRHP since May 4, 1979. The campus historic district is between Morris Avenue, Yarrow Street and New Gulph Road in Bryn Mawr, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
The house was restored in 1999 by architects Buell, Kratzer, Powell. Renamed the Benham Gateway Building, it houses the college's admissions office.
