Amirreza Borzooei Chaghagolani (Persian: امیررضا برزویی چقاگلانی, born 19 June 2004) is an Iranian Karateka athlete who won a bronze medal at the Asian Karate Championships 2021 and 2023.[1][2][3][4]

Early life

At the end of 2007, he started karate under the supervision of Sasan Akbari in free styles. In 2009, he joined controlled karate from free styles and continued his training under the supervision of Manouchehr Karimi. Then in 2011, he followed karate professionally under the supervision of Ehsan Heydari and Hamidreza Farhadi. Borzooei won his first official medal in the national championship of the youth national team in Sanandaj in 2016. Gold in Karate1 (World League) for youth, bronze in Asian Youth Championship , bronze in Asian U21 Championship, silver in Karate1 (World League) under 21 years and silver medal in Karate1 (World League) Series A are the most important titles of Amirreza Borzooei to date.[5][6][7][8]
