I am a Professor in the Department of Statistics, University of Warwick. I am interested in various aspects of high-dimensional statistics. I have worked in high-dimensional regression, statistical network analysis, change point analysis, nonparametric statistics, functional data analysis, differential privacy and graphical modelling. Editorial service

I am an Associate Editor of Biometrika (2019-), an Associate Editor of Bernoulli (2022-) and an editorial board reviewer of Journal of Machine Learning Research (2020-).

 

Funding

My research is partially funded by the EPSRC programme grant DASS (EP/Z531327/1) and Leverhulme Trust (Philip Leverhulme Prize), was partially funded by EPSRC(EP/V013432/1 and EP/W003716/1).

 

Short bio

I was previously a Reader (2021-23) and an Associate Professor (2019-21) in the University of Warwick, a Lecturer (2017-19) in the University of Bristol, a postdoc (2013-16) of Professor Richard Samworth and a graduate student (2009-13) of Professor Zhiliang Ying. I obtained my academic degrees from Fudan University (Ph.D. in Mathematical Statistics, June 2013 and B.Sc. in Mathematics, June 2009). I am a recipient of the Philip Leverhulme Prize in 2023.
