Abstract:
Quality Education is listed as goal number four among the seventeen Sustainable Development Goals manifested by the United Nations. There exist an endless number of ways to positively influence the quality of education in a given country. This paper proposes how it can be accomplished by unveiling the potential of Self-Sovereign Identity Wallets in federated learning environments such as National Educational Platform. The specific scenario described in this work is based on the research conducted within the project Bildungsraum Digital, funded by the NextGenerationEU and German Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
