Abstract

A novel SDN dual-optimization application based on EDFA adaptive gain control and WSS-based spectrum equalization is proposed. OSNR 5.7 dB gains for 80 DWDM 128-Gb/s channels are experimentally demonstrated in our metropolitan optical network test-bed.
