My 6 year’s experience

First of all, an applause for the Interest and Stocks!! Team Wise made a huge change on how banks should approach and treat their clients, you guys proved it’s possible to be a successful bank and yet provide low prices and good opportunities to your clients. The service Wise provides its high quality level, quick, intuitive and with a variety of options what makes it inclusive for all kind of people worldwide (that holds a smartphone).

Secure & easy to use

I tell all my friends to use wise as it’s so easy to use, you get very good exchange rates. I am over 60 not tech savvy in the slightest and l can use this with complete ease and understanding and to top it off l also get interest added which ok might be a small amount but everything helps in the present climate.

This card is my lifesaver abroad - I dont use any other card

I travel a lot especially between UK and Zambia. I use my Wise card rather than my normal bank card for all activities I need to pay for while in Zambia. Although they closed the Zambia Kwacha accounts. Im pleased that using my Stirling transferring to dollars or paying in local currently is all at a fair rate and within good time not taking my money for days. Basically this is my lifesaver abroad.

Excellent payment system to make…

Excellent payment system to make international payments. The initial setup is a little complicated, but once you get passed that making payments is quite easy. Plus, wise sends notices at each step and they alert the sender of funds when the recipient has received the money. It's worded in a way that is very understandable. One of the best payment systems.

Have to be honest and write a review…

Have to be honest and write a review when it’s needed, I have banked with wise for 2/3 years now business and personal, they have extremely good customer service and attentive! Always look out for the customer!.
Fast transfers and superb rates with currency exchange.
Would highly recommend anyone to use wise!.

Great service as always!!

I have been using Wise since it's days as Travel wise and have always found it to be a great service.
My last transfer to my bank in Spain took 8 seconds to land after confirming the transaction.
I have also found the Digital pre-loaded card very convenient as I travel a lot to different countries.

I have been using Wise for some years…

I have been using Wise for some years now, and they day in and day out make my transactions easier. When there is a problem they tell me. I can then pass on the info to the vendor having the problem or who did not submit the request correctly. Being able to pass on the info usually fixes the problem quickly. I also, like them because they are honest, polite, and work in my best interest something one of my banks does just the opposite. I can avoid problems with them thanks to Wise. My stress is a lot less. Thanks for the great job you are doing!

Negative Infinity should be an option

Negative Infinity should be an option. Phone died & had to transfer sim to a new one. Complete 2 step verification & get told am trying to complete from a different location. Have deleted & reinstalled but keep getting same response. Contact centre has been "too busy" for 8 days now to "chat" with & a dozen attempts to email end with same " couldn't send right now, try again later". Travelling overseas & has completely screwed me, absolute disgrace

Returning after a year away - still good

It was a great experience using the app after a while but a slightly confusing process to add money to the account. In using apps like Monzo and Revolut which add money from an account at the push of a button, doing this in Wise feels a little dated and awkward. Not a deal breaker, but it could be a little slicker.

Wise Bank is a Scam!

My account was closed by Wise without any clear explanation. When I sought clarification, their response was simply, "We cannot tell you." Even after providing all necessary documents, they claim they need to "investigate" for months, or even indefinitely, before issuing any refunds.

Why do they operate this way? They hold onto your money for extended periods, sometimes permanently, and invest it. They profit significantly from this strategy, not just from "fees."

Avoid Wise—it's all about their profits, not your security.

Such an easy app to use

Such an easy app to use, and the rates are incredible. I wish we had discovered wise Yeats ago. We are regularly converting Sterling to Euros, it is instantaneous. I would definitely recommend.

Excellent rates and very easy

Excellent rate of exchange and very reasonable fees. The money always arrives in my account in a matter of seconds. The whole transaction is very easy with the Wise app.

POSITIVE:

POSITIVE:
1. Sales Service is for me very important - I have a problem, SS found a positive solution.
2. App works very good. 9/10. Only the limits should be flaxible.
3. Paying if I have no enough money on one of the pocket - use all charge and takes the rest with quite fair fee from another pocket. Anyway - if that would be with standard exchange fee, it would event better.
4. Packback for money on the account - very impressive and possitive.
5. No regular paymemnts for the account.

NEGATIVE:
1. Money transfer should be free (out of the account), or event the limit pro month min. 1.000€ for free would be great.
2. 15.000€ limit for money on the pocket.
3. Debit card should be free.

Our exchange fee is guaranteed for a specified period of time. It’s important that you send your money to us right away so we receive your money on time. As long as we receive your money on time, you’ll get that rate locked. If your money doesn’t reach us in time, we’ll still convert and send it as soon as possible. But we’ll use the mid-market rate instead.

If you’re planning on spending in a currency that you don’t have in your Wise account, our Smart Conversion technology will automatically convert the balance for you that has the lowest conversion fee. And if the currencies that you hold in your account have the same conversion fees, we'll use the one with the best exchange rate, so you get the most for your money.

Our goal is to be eventually free. Until we do that, as we understand nobody enjoys price changes, we do our best to keep our fees low as possible. So you never pay more, we regularly review our fees to reflect the real cost of moving your money.

I was able to help my Thai friend

My friend in Thailand had brain surgery and needed to buy a bed to go home. She needed money fast. I was able to help out and this meant a lot to me. Then I got the idea that wise could be how I transfer money from my US account to my Mexican bank. I said it up and immediately solve the problem that I have had for 5 years. It's hard to transfer and expensive to send wired transfers. I'm very happy with wise woo

Different Transfer fees

Transfer fees of “send from bank account”(5,28€) vs “send from wise account” (5,76€) are different in a negative way. That destroys the cx, the convenience and the willingness to keep money in wise!

It's free to send money from one balance to another, as long as they're the same currency. There's a fixed fee to send money from your balances to a bank account outside of Wise.

I loaded money into the account with…

I loaded money into the account with Apple Pay and it charged a fee. I have never experienced this with any fintech company. Master Card and VISA cards are also assigned to Apple Pay. The Master Card was rejected by the system even after several attempts. I could only top up money via Apple PAY with a VISA card.

Generally, you shouldn't have issues paying for a transfer with a card, but sometimes it might get declined. There are different reasons for that: your bank declined the payment, your 3DS is not working, we declined your payment.
