1938 Day or Evening Dress Pattern by EvaDress, one of our most popular!

Originally by McCall, the dinner dress may be cut in longer or shorter length (as a cocktail dress or or day wear). Long fitted, short cap or short, shaped sleeves may be used. This, as do many of my patterns comes with fully illustrated instructions for construction and finishing. The white model and detail in the photo shows a sleeveless version I made from this pattern into a 'ribbon' dress (not for sale)! Other images show customer creations. I offer this design in size set A (fitting 32" to 38" bust, 26" to 32" waist, 35" to 41" hip), or size set B (fitting 40" to 46" bust, 34" to 40" waist, 43" to 49" hip)-see options. This pattern has 3/8" (1 cm) seam allowances included.
