During his recent visit to India Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella fielded some tough questions and listened patiently to some sound advice on sustainable development. The questions didnt come from seasoned journalists and the advice wasnt offered by experts. Both came from a young gaming developer. While most eight-year-olds are busy playing video games this is one eight-year-old that is busy making them! The bespectacled young boy has developed a gaming app called Let There Be Light. In the game users build things like factories and farms to ensure the prosperity of their cities. You have to balance industrial growth and agriculture so that you can control pollution and the rate of growth so that an economy can sustain itself the young developer explains in an interview with CNBC TV18. Listen in as the little genius recounts Nadellas reaction to his advice on sustainable development I am looking at becoming the CEO of Microsoft to make it a technological company that takes over all the companies in the world says the young boy wonder. #genius #child #microsoft #TheBetterIndia #know_rahulj Video Game, Satya Nadella, Let There Be Light, India Facts, Playing Video Games, Agriculture, Microsoft, Video Games, Interview

And somehow while flying the kite I held my hands on an electric wire instead of kite flying thread. I got a huge electric shock and fell down on the road from the terrace and as a result my heart stopped beating for few seconds so basically I was dead for those few seconds but then fortunately a doctor was passing by and he gave me a hands-only CPR and I was brought back to life. I was laterrushed to the nearest hospital my hands were badly burnt and due to this massive trauma doctors said that both of my hands had to be amputated. Loosing your both the hands at the age of 14 I realized that life would continue to be difficult. But at the same time I was happy that I had received a new lease of life something that a few lucky ones gain. In fact I was looking forward to make the best out of what I had been left with. Soon I was trained to do everything without hands. The school in which I was studying gave me a leaving certificate saying YOU ARE OF NO USE to us. You have no hands so obtaining education is just a dream for you. Instead of motivating me principal of that school discouraged me. But I wanted to continue studying so I got myself enrolled in another school. Later I even completed my graduation. But the part that will surprise you the most is that I have given exams all by myself. I used to complete my exams before three hours. I even play cricket and football. I've also begun playing guitar and trying to master a few pieces in it. When I was in the hospital my mom made me practice holding a pen. #know_rahulj Flying Kites, No Hands, Electric Wire, In Kannada, Kite Flying, Electric Shock, Dead To Me, Hold My Hand

a man with long hair and glasses sitting at a table
I came to India after spending a lot of time reflecting on my own life. I decided that I wanted to leave the United States and experience life from a different perspective. Within the first six hours of arriving in Delhi I was scammed out of over half my money by a travel agency. I ended up working on an organic farm (WOOF-ing) in #Dharamsala for three weeks where I was generously given food and a place to stay. I have learned so much from India and I want to spend the rest of my life traveling around the world. In the United States I was taught that being happy meant making lots of money but through living here I have learned that happiness is about doing what you love most and going with the flow because everyone is different.
