Letter of the week crafts are a great way to practice the alphabet with younger kids in preschool and kindergarten. They’re also great for a fun hands-on activity for older kids. As we continue sharing some of our favorite crafts, the M Letter of the Week craft is always a fun one to do!
M LETTER OF THE WEEK CRAFT – M IS FOR MOOSE
I pulled from book inspiration again for this letter of the week craft. M is for Moose is inspired by the book If You Give a Moose a Muffin by Laura Numeroff. We’re huge fans of all of the If You Give a Mouse a Cookie books so it only made sense to create our own moose to go along with the book!
This crafts pairs well with If You Give a Moose a Muffin and making easy muffins with your kids for a day of activities learning more about the letter M!
LETTER M PRINTABLE & CRAFT MATERIALS
You can either draw a letter M and then cut it out or print a copy of our letter M printable and cut it out. If you want to print it but don’t have brown paper that works in the printer, print it on white paper or cardstock, cut it out, and use it as a tracing template. Tracing is also a good fine motor skills activity for kindergarten students.
