MOSCOW, March 2. /TASS/. For Russia, the appearance of European peacekeepers in Ukraine will mean that the causes of the crisis will not disappear, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in an interview with Krasnaya Zvezda.

"Just as they brought it [the current regime in Kiev] to power on bayonets and pushed it forward, they now also want to prop it up with their bayonets in the form of peacekeeping units. This would mean that the root causes will not disappear," Lavrov noted.

Lavrov also said that Vladimir Zelensky has become a "pure Nazi" and a traitor to the Jewish people. "Vladimir Zelensky has made a 180-degree turn from a man who came to power on slogans of peace, on slogans of ‘leave the Russian language alone, it is our common language, our common culture’ (you can find all this is on the Internet), and in six months he has turned into a pure Nazi and, as Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin rightly said, a traitor to the Jewish people," Lavrov noted.
