Chelsea loanee Ike Ugbo ‘not paid this month as Dutch club Roda JC use his wages to pay the rest of his team-mates’
Chelsea loanee Ike Ugbo has not been paid by Dutch club Roda JC with question marks surrounding their investor, reports claim.
Englishman Ugbo, 21, has scored four goals on loan at the second division side.
However, the former Eredivisie club have allegedly used the forward's wages to spread across the rest of the squad, leaving their star loanee empty-handed.
Ugbo is understood to earn about ten times what his team-mates earn and according to Dutch publication NRC, the coaches would rather have one angry unpaid player than several.
The blame is being put on Mexican investor Mauricio Garcia de la Vega, who Roda JC are pushing to get rid of after he tried to take over the club last summer.
The discontent among fans at the Parkstad Limburg Stadion is so bad that the local mayor and police advised De la Vega to not attend their home ground for their match against De Graafschap on Friday.

He ignored this advice and was greeted with banners reading 'Faker', 'Liar' and 'F*** off Mauricio'.
De la Vega later declined to meet with angry supporters and was pushed out of the stadium by them. Security guards did not intervene to protect him.
He has a record for bad deals in the past including a failed takeover of Spanish club Real Murcia as he did not have proof of funds.
It's a situation not too dissimilar to that seen by Bury and fans worry the club could fold before the end of the season.

The players are not expecting to be paid next month either.
Dutch FA the KNVB is looking into De la Vega's takeover to try and get to the bottom of how the situation has reached this point.
Roda JC are currently owned by Fritz Schrouff, 79, who has been in poor health but is keen to make sure a new custodian for the club could be found for his 80 per cent share.
De la Vega's price for departure is £221,000 — and after that happens the club's players can think about being paid again.
