An International Workshop dedicated to the anniversary of the Polyakov's String (of course to... more An International Workshop dedicated to the anniversary of the Polyakov's String (of course today there is no need to remind the meaning and the role of this theory) was held in Chernogolovka in June 2005. Apart from the 25-th anniversary of the first appearance of the Polyakov's String theory, this conference, to our mind, might be also thought of as a 35 years from the discovery of the Conformal Invariance, 30 years of the Monopole and the Instantons and, finally, as the 20-th anniversary of the CFT. A case of mysterious coincidence, this year is also a jubilee of Sasha himself, whose contribution to the Theoretical Physics of 20-th century is far from being exhausted by the achievements listed above.

We argue that the magnon condensate in yttrium iron garnet may display experimentally observable ... more We argue that the magnon condensate in yttrium iron garnet may display experimentally observable superfluidity at room temperature despite the 100 times dominance of the normal density over superfluid ones. The superfluidity has a more complicated nature than in known superfluids since the U(1) symmetry of the global phase shift is violated by the dipolar interaction leading to the exchange of spin moment between the condensate and the crystal lattice. It produces periodic inhomogeneity in the stationary superfluid flow. We discuss the manner of observation and possible applications of magnon superfluidity. It may strongly enhance the spin-torque effects and reduce the energy consumption of the magnonic devices.

We consider a superconducting film, placed upon a magnetic dot array. Magnetic moments of the dot... more We consider a superconducting film, placed upon a magnetic dot array. Magnetic moments of the dots are normal to the film and randomly oriented. We determine how the concentration of the vortices in the film depends on the magnetic moment of a dot at low temperatures. The concentration of the vortices, bound to the dots, is proportional to the density of the dots and depends on the magnetization of a dot in a step-like way. The concentration of the unbound vortices oscillates about a value, proportional to the magnetic moment of the dots. The period of the oscillations is equal to the width of a step in the concentration of the bound vortices.

We study the influence of a fast noise on Landau-Zener transitions. We demonstrate that a fast co... more We study the influence of a fast noise on Landau-Zener transitions. We demonstrate that a fast colored noise much weaker than the conventional white noise can produce transitions itself or can change substantially the Landau-Zener transition probabilities. In the limit of fast colored or strong white noise we derive asymptotically exact formulas for transition probabilities and study the time evolution of a spin coupled to the noise and a sweeping magnetic field.
