Where is the bison meat sourced? A friend thought it was the best tasting burger ever! I'd like to make some on the grill at home & simply want to know more!!! Is the bison farmed like cattle or roaming on prairie?

      A:

We no longer offer a Bison burger on our menu, when we did carry it we sourced it from North American Bison LLC, a farmers collective.

A great place in downtown Edina to grab a burger and beer! They do offer a lot more ... a full bar and a variety of dishes to whet your appetite beyond burgers!

Great cocktails, especially the Bloody Mary! And fast and friendly service! A great casual dining experience with your friends or family!

Quick review... have been to Red Cow many times (mostly their St Paul location, which was a go to for watching sports, brunch, etc when I had fam that lived near the Cathedral)

Went yesterday to the 50th & France location for a quick post golf lunch & bev at the bar... bartender was super friendly, happy to change TV channels, chat about the game(s) & give good beer recs. The ambiance fits this grown up preppy area of SW Minne. Chicken club was excellent, and tater tots had a bit of peppery pop. Buddy loved the double barrel burger, which came highly recommended

Will be back soon, def stop in when in the area and in need of a good burger/draft beer selection!

We love Red Cow- it's our go to classic American spot to bring guests because there is something for everyone and the food and service are always good.
      It's a casual ambiance.

My husband swears by the double barrel as the best burger in town. A few other things not to sleep on:
      - the ahi tuna crisps
      - the cheese curds. They come with a berry ketchup that is a perfect tangy sweet tart combo with the curds
      - I love the turkey burger
      - their wings are amazing too!

Small parking lot but can usually find residential street parking if you're willing to walk a little.

      1 check-in

First nice evening so we opted for the patio and waited about 10 minutes or so to be seated. After we ordered the kid's food, it took awhile for the food their food and appetizer to come out. The best entree was the cheese curds. My wedge salad with the steak was ok. The plate was a little small that I had to be precarious to not spill onto the table when cutting up the wedge iceberg lettuce. The steak was ok, it was a little tough to chew. The homemade ketchup was good with the tater tots. I liked the homemade ketchup, it was not too sweet and doesn't take like a ton of salt so it was a nice change. The kids chicken tenders were extra crispy. The fries were good and it was nice that they had halfed the grades. Service was fine. It was nice that they gave my husband free mini donuts for his birthday. It was a nice evening.

We have never had a bad burger there!! The food is always very fresh and delicious. The management and staff are very pleasant, friendly and accommodating. They always aim to please, and we always leave happy. We like the relaxed and hospitable atmosphere as well. Whenever you get the burger craving, this is the place to go!!

Came here with some friends for drinks and apps. It was a really cute place and the drinks were so good! (Pictures attached). The service was good. It was pretty busy but we got seated relatively quickly and they were attentive. It was a little pricey, but we are graduate students so everything is expensive to us.

We came here on a Sunday and surprisingly wasn't packed, it was around 1-1:30. We watched some football and ordered food in the bar area. It was quiet and decorated nicely for Christmas!
Our server was great and took good care of us. The food was amazing and very reasonably priced for what you get!
      Double barrel burger 10/10
Amazing Bloody Mary with a full size beef stick
Onion rings- newer menu item I believe- 10/10
Hot chicken plate- spicy and great flavor with good sauces!

J Mediterranean Steak Bowl, but substituted chicken for the beef.
quinoa, tahini yogurt, chermoula, cucumber, tomato, onion, mint, cilantro, naan
Was a lovely lunch, perfectly sized, not heavy and kinda unexpected option at the cow. I would order that again unless I was going for Double Barrel burger!

The server was hilarious with attentive service. The gluten free boneless buffalo wings were so good- it was a great gluten free option. Try the ginger beer- it is on tap and perfectly spicy.

Parking lot is tiny- likely you will need to park on the neighborhood streets nearby- be mindful of the parking rules so you don't get a ticket.

I was in town for business and found this restaurant on Yelp because of its high rating. It didn't disappoint! We had the Buffalo Cauliflower which was a new thing I had never tried before. They were delicious! Excellent burgers, and good service. They also had gluten free options which my coworker really appreciated. I would definitely eat here again.
