Chevron

Just wanted to thank the kind man that was working tonight at the Chevron on Thornton and Fremont Blvd.
I asked him his name before I left and his name is Fred.
Fred was helping me put air into my tire while also running in and out of the gas station store helping customers right away. Back and forth, and he stayed kind and upbeat to everyone.
Just a good good guy.

this chevron station has a mini carwash. a medium sized convenience store, the usual gas pumps and parking spaces if one looks at the right place (next to air & water station).

the convenience store is standard sized. it had some self-serve beverages and 1 ready to eat snack. the chilled beverages were the usual slightly pricey options.

brew: brazilian medium roast covfefe (m. 1.00) 100% arabica beans
-tasted slightly harsh due to arabica beans?
may switch to more caffeine option which is mixed with robusta beans.

quick, courteous service by young attendant...

The clerk came out running telling me I can't use the pump because he made an error and told me to use another pump instead of fixing the error he did.
The main thing he just kept arguing and prevented me from getting in my vehicle

Buyer beware. Quality control is a joke. Hostess cup cakes were a month past the due date.

Gas is overpriced, which it's overprice everywhere, but considering the two stations across the street are $.40 cheaper I would say it's overpriced. It's also not right off the freeway so you would have to go out of your way to get there. I came specifically for the car wash which the dryer function wasn't working. I went inside to ask if they could give me a refund and they offered to give me a different car wash and also said that the dryer should be working and to drive slow as if I didn't realize you're supposed to drive slow when the dryer function is working... gave the benefit of the doubt and went through the car wash again only for the dryer to not work still. When I came out I realized three other cars had gone through the car wash and were drying their cars with whatever means they could, be at the squeegees that are at the pumps or paper towels. Quite the disappointment. Not to mention when I looked at my car it wasn't only wet but it was it actually cleaned... Pretty awful car wash if you're planning on stopping there for it. The prices weren't that bad which is nice, but if the car wash sucks then why would you care if it's cheap...

Pump #6 has its buttons all messed up so I couldn't use my debit card. Went inside and asked for $40 on that pump. The cashier took so long to do this. And then, THE PUMP DOESN'T WORK!! Total jerk behind the counter sits there and tells me no refunds. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!
After arguing for 10 minutes, I tell him he can move my damn $40 over to another pump. He complies. I'll never ever be back to this place.

Not that clean store. Car wash did not do a good job. Wasted the money. Gas price is expensive than the other station but maybe a little bit better gas.

Worst service. Displays on gas station don't work. Most of the pumps are out of service. Car wash is faulty. The dryers doesn't work

Anthony? I think that's his name... And the others that have taken his place are MUCH nicer. I often stop in for my morning caffeine and a bit of good morning chitchat before heading out to work. On many an occasion, I've been hooked up with large cappuccinos for the price of a small or medium.

Even though the pumps are pretty slow, this is still probably one of best priced Chevrons in the area. Also, I love starting my day with a smile. Anthony makes me smile!

Pumps are always broken here... For months! Go ahead and fix that super unconvenient.
