Banu Tamim
The Banu Tamim tribe (Arabic: بنو تميم), also known as the Bani Tamim tribe, are one of the main tribes of Arabia. Tamim, the ancestor of the tribe, is a direct descendant of Adnan and is thus considered an Ishmaelite tribe descending from Ishmael son of Abraham.
Today, descendants from the tribe live in the Arabian Peninsula and neighboring countries such as, Saudi Arabia, Egypt,Iraq, Kuwait, Jordan, Syria, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Iran, Lebanon & Palestine.
The word Tamim in Arabic means strong and solid. It also means Perfection
