Building a Multiuser Sequence Analysis Facility Using Freeware

Although many commercial packages exist for molecular sequence analysis, they are typically expensive. Whereas many Web-based applications are available for sequence analysis, the Web interface cannot store data on remote servers and is awkward to use. Peptide map prediction

The programs Mobility and Pepsort in GCG package can be used together to predict and plot the theoretical mobilities of peptides in two dimensional thin layer analysis. The plots show electrophoresis in the first dimension and ascending chromatography in the second dimension
