Bee Gees is an iconic pop group that created, wrote, and sang music since 1958. They were pretty successful in the four decades that they have been active in the music industry however, it was in the 60’s and 70’s when the whole group completely reached to climactic peak of their already spectacular career. The Bee Gees has three original members named Barry, Robin, and Maurice Gibb. They are all brothers and they sang their songs with a harmonious blend, which was a first since they were incorporating their different voices in pop music.
In the late 60’s, Robin Gibb was the lead vocals and his vibrato voice was the reason why they became extremely popular at the time since it could easily reach out to people and at the same time, capture their emotions in the process. The 70’s and 80’s came and the amazing falsetto voice of Barry Gibb became the trademark of the group as he effortlessly sang his high notes to perfection.
Maurice Gibb’s unfortunate sudden death in January 2003 was the motivation for his brothers to stop gracing the music entertainment business. So after four and a half decades, the legendary group finally rested to grieve for their late brother. They became quiet for some time until 2009 when they chose to get on to the spotlight once again and play their most loved songs. They are presently considered as the best pop group icon of all time and they were inducted in 1997 in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
