Storybook Squares

One of the main differences between "Hollywood Squares" and "Storybook Squares" is that the various celebrity guests appeared as characters from folklore, literature, history, or other TV programs. This led to some very interesting (and sometimes bizarre) casting, such as: Roddy McDowall as Sherlock Holmes, Barbara Eden as Jeannie, Carolyn Jones as Morticia Addams, Marty Allen as Cupid, Paul Winchell and Jerry Mahoney as Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Charo as Queen Isabella, William Shatner as Captain Kirk, Wally Cox as Paul Revere, Soupy Sales as Henry VIII, Rip Taylor as Custer, Arte Johnson as the German Soldier from "Laugh-In," and Roy Rogers and Dale Evans as...Roy Rogers and Dale Evans.
